is that of my beautiful mare Pagan, calling out for her brekky. She is an Australian Stockhorse I bred, out of an ex racehorse by an Australian pony. She was born on 16th Sept 1984, same day as Prince Harry. We've been on so many adventures together and we're growing old and slowing down together.

I look at her face and I still see a young horse. Her own mother was very beautiful, but she actually had wrinkles around her eyes and mouth, like a human, but Pagans face is still smooth and wrinkle free. I can see it in her old body, the sagging back, the clicks and cracks I hear coming from her neck and spine, even her once black hooves have gone light, I think because they're made of keratin they've basically gone grey, like hair, but her face is as beautiful as ever.
