Heath62 Posted April 1, 2017 Share Posted April 1, 2017 I have my heart set on getting a CKCS, but I think I've been reading to much about their health issues because I'm now second guessing my decision. Is there anyone out their with good experiences with these dogs. I intend finding a breeder and not buying one from a shop or some hinky puppy farm. Gretel Posted April 3, 2017 Share Posted April 3, 2017 Yes they do have health issues but then what breed doesn't? I have a girl here who is over 15 and has had a good long life. She won't be with us much longer unfortunately as her kidneys are failing. I've also lost some way too young from heart disease. They are a lovely breed to live with, intelligent, happy and friendly and pretty of course! Find a reputable breeder and ask lots of questions.
