When a mixed breed is super cute!!!

Recommended Posts

He does look like a Jack Russell on super-super steroids!  I love how they describe him as 'extra large'.  He also gets a very good rap for his nature.  Sounds like a sweetie...just a very, very big one.

He looks as though someone has started to strip him and stopped.  LOL.

He really does!

The mismatched head was such a wonderful surprise.

What an awesome-looking dog. I imagine he'd draw a lot of attention on walks!

Haha he is a unique looking fella!

My dogs are both rescue mutts, and I have only once seen a dog that looked very similar to Scrappi. The rescue said he was corgi x Maltese, but we very quickly realised we didn't think he had Maltese, and that he definitely has terrier in him (probably jack Russell)

This is him as a pup and then him now. :)

Odd the way the genetic die can roll and sometimes you get a really unique looking dog on a mixed breed!

Yes haha he's a funny little fella

We don't know for sure which pups were his siblings or what his parents looked like.

We saw a dog on petrescue last year who looked a lot like him which was so weird to see! Haha

I always felt this girl was distinctive LOL. She was surrendered to me as a Pomeranian X!!!! Had been purchased off the back of a ute at a market somewhere - the buyers were told Dad was a Pomeranian!   Mum was a working kelpie (no argument there!) but I have very strong doubts about Dad!!! She looked just like a stocky, brindle kelpie. Here she is at six months with me:

and here she is in a later photo:

Pretty girl.

I knew a long haired chi who got to a GermanShepherd bitch once. Anything is possible. ..

Oh agree that size differences are no barrier at all!
My doubt about the alleged sire is due to the fact that she has zero Pomeranian characteristics.

With permission I can post these photos of a friends dog. She is a Husky/Deerhound mix. (According to Pound)  She is beautiful! It's funny because it's not so obvious in a photo but you can really pick the Husky in her personality when you meet her. She has a big sickle tail too, which you can't see in the photo.
