Advocate reactions

Would love some feedback on your Advocate experiences please?

 

I have used this in the past on many dogs in a shelter environment with no adverse reactions.

 

However my Aunt has used this for the past 7 months and the last two times her Chi has reacted behaviorally. Padraig has been agitated, and hasn't gone near my Aunt until early this morning. This time was the worst. I have advised her to speak with the vet. In the mean time please share with me any adverse reactions you have witnessed.

It’s a chemical so any dog can react .

Frontline caused burns,friends used advocate and caused a rash down the back and coat texture to change .

A risk with any product used.

all adverse reactions should be reported to the manufacturer, they will log it and record batch numbers and may even provide you with an alternative product to try.

Is she using it per kilo or putting the eg 4kg tube on a 2kg dog? or the 10kg on a 5kg dog. I find the measurements really scary when it comes to dosage and have talked my mum into splitting a 4kg between 2 chi. 
I split it up, per kilo and have had no reactions for years. Only reactions I did have was skipping a meal or localised rash, nothing behavioural that I noticed but maybe advocate is just too much chemical for a wee body. 

Has she tried revolution instead? or just plain advantage for fleas?
