BJ.

Nash, my gentle giant.

BJ.

Nash passed away late last night. He fought hard but those long legs that had taken him on many adventures had failed him, he was just too tired to continue. He insisted on going out to the toilet at about 10, it took two of us to get him out and in. It just took too much out of him. He slipped into unconsciousness and passed away with his head in my lap about 20 minutes later. We have buried him on my daughter's property where he loved running the boundaries.

Vale my darling boy, run free from pain and the restraints of old age.

Sorry to hear Nash has finally gone. At least it sounds like he went peacefully and on his own terms. And  now he is able to run free from pain. My thoughts are with you.

How beautiful that your faces were the last thing he saw, and your arms the last thing he felt.  He would have known how much you loved him.  I hope he is running the boundaries of doggy heaven and waiting for you.
