Open Pyometra in Golden Retrievers

Hi All,

I have 2 breeder dams of Goldens and both are healthy but it seem to have green discharges after a false pregnancy this summer. Theyre appetite are good and active dogs. But everyday I noticed that there is a discharge color greenish in their vulva. No foul odor and just simply like a  mocus discharge. Is this a sign of Open Pyometra? What should I do with them. Any remedies....Greatly much appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Thank you, although my dog just seems fine without any problems at all. Its just the discharge in their vulva that makes me worry.

That is why the other posters have advised you to go to your vet so don't delay as it may prove fatal.

Go to your vet and find out for sure

By the time your dog shows signs of ill health, it will become emergency surgery to fix it... very expensive, and very risky for your dog.

Please take them to the vet ASAP!
