Hi! Our 6 year old Border collie x staffy has started to become aggressive towards other dogs in public since we have gotten a puppy (English staffy) Our 6 year old pup used to have no problem with other dogs or going to dog parks but since we introduced the new puppy she has become agressive and disobedient when we take her to dog parks or even on walks. What can I do to stop this and help her become better again?

Hi :)
What else has changed in her world, apart from turning it upside down with bringing in a new puppy ?
Does she still
sleep in the same spot?
Get the same amount of walks/play/attention?
have quiet time away from the nipping, yipping, chasing  puppy with JUST you?
have her chewing bone time ?
have her special spots in the different rooms or outside ...or has the pesky pup stolen them ? :(

Dogs don't usually ask for a new puppy, and it can be a very upsetting experience .
IF she adores the pup, she may be protecting it .
If she is feeling anxious, left out, and stressed, this will show in her different ('bad') behaviour.

Even if she adores the pup - she may still be feeling out of sorts from the routine disruption. Less sleep, changed hours, changed routine - all those can make for a dog to feel less tolerant and feel overwhelmed. And overwhelmed dogs stressing out get cranky and won't be able to listen as well as normal.

It may also be, now that she has her own companion, she no longer enjoys the dog parks as she's already getting her "social quota" from her very own home.

Try sticking to nice and quiet walks (without the puppy), avoiding triggers and looking for things to sniff. Giving yourselves both a break while new routines are worked out.

Could it be that she is 'protecting' the new puppy.  How is she with the puppy without other dogs around?

Possibly! At home they do play fight most days, neither of them have ever been harmed though.

Is the issue walks with the pup ? If yes have you tried the same walk without pup to see if the behaviour still happens??
The other questions asked above can also be a big factor

We haven’t done the normal walk lately without the puppy. We will give that a go and see

Thankyou so much for the advice!

We also recently had people move in the house behind us who have a dog who barks all day long, I’m beginning to think that is also setting her off. She still sleeps in the same spot and gets the same amount of attention, if not more.
