Help buying puppy interstate

So I’m planning to buy a puppy interstate. However, when contacting the breeder about interstate travel, the breeder told me that I had to organise it myself. My question is, is that even possible for me to organise a flight etc, as I do not even own the puppy. If it is possible, can somebody give me a guide on what/ how I should go about transporting this puppy. . I’m from Victoria, the breeder is from Queensland. This breeder is registered with ANKC and I trust them as I have verified it. Thanks!

If you want to organise it yourself give Qantas freight a call, some prefer Virgin but I am not sure what, if anything, they are flying at the moment.

Or you could talk to companies that organise it for you, someone like

http://baycitypettravel.com.au/,

https://www.moorholmepettransport.com.au/

or

https://www.dogtainers.com.au/,

there are several other companies as well.

There are also companies that do road transport, although for a young pup I’d go by air.

Breed matters- rules for air travel are stricter for short faced breeds.

Contact Baycity dog travel or Aeropets in Qld .

Other options KCR,Animal logistics etc etc

Yes you can arrange it yourself easily you just need the the breeder to be prepared to work in with the limited flight choices .
