COALITION FOR THE EXTINCTION OF THOROUGHBREDS

We have long tried to expose the facade of the
claims of "merely seeking reform of racing" and despite years and years of denials CPR have now openly declared their hand, saying racing is "beyond redemption" and they want "this industry to come to an end". Which was really never in doubt for anyone who has closely followed their decade of false and made-up claims.

Today they teamed up with

for a ridiculous protest at Flemington. But look past the tacky street theatre and at what the association with PETA means, which is even more concerning for genuine animal lovers.

Just last week PETA Australia representatives conducted a bizarre interview on radio 3AW where they openly called for the end of any breeding of thoroughbreds, and also for the end of all breeding of any domestic animals, such as dogs or cats, beyond this generation - resulting in their ultimate extinction.

Share this far and wide, because this is the agenda of these animal activist groups and the general public need to be aware.

Animal rights groups are pushing for animal extinction, not animal welfare. The fact that their "protest" consists of five people looking ridiculous standing on an empty street just goes to show how hopelessly out of touch they are.

Remember to use #LoveTheHorse #YupToTheCup hashtags when commenting on social media about horse racing on Cup Day. You can still be an animal lover and enjoy horse racing and the views of these activists groups are extremist.

This has been the agenda since the 1980's but the ANKC members took it up as their mantra without ever thinking through where did "we must eliminate" came from.

If my vet is right,.He believes it is already too late to save the ANKC gene pool, so many breeds remaining gene pool are already too low without opening the stud book to appendix animals which are going to come from where?

  • 1 year later...

some more new legislation being pushed to add more pressure to those who still breed,  more will decide to give up and less will want to become a target.  so agenda still on track

Looks like some in america are waking up too?

May be an image of saddle-stitched leather and text that says "Where did all the dogs go? Think it can't happen? Think again. If we spay and neuter all dogs and ban all breeding, where will lead? Read the fine print when contributing to your pet causes. You may be support- ing animal rights group that equates owning domestic pets to exploitation, which threatens your right to own dog. We're more than champion dogs. We're the dog champion. www.akc.org AMERICAN KENNEL CLUB®"

People have finally began to realise we only have 5 years before its too late. PETA ARE CELEBRATING with good reason

The ANKC (and others) also seem to be pushing for extinction through limited registration, denigrating"BYBs" and closed registries.

I'm all for keeping pedigrees and for rational health testing (ie required tests depend on frequency of problem,  seriousness of problem and reliability of the test).  I'd also like to see genetic testing used to prevent inbreeding.

What I mostly sense is trying to limit breeding to titled dogs and dogs that pass rather arbitrary health testing claiming to be "ethical ".

A single species that shares a single environment- Breeders just don't get that responsibility is a biological imperative for success or at least its biological definition.  Attacking that environment to remove its perceived failures is not responsibility. Teaching how to deliver better value is, and its demonstration is all that can bring acceptance, the only way to increase both the species and its available environment .

Value is always subjective. ANKC was founded on Objective values. Application of the wrong value creates a double negative and corrupts the language to convey the opposite message of that intended.

Destroying the foundations of Domestic Dogs, can only leave them with no support.

exactly, they completely forgot their very basis for existance. To ENCOURAGE AND MAINTAIN.  Instead they turned on each other to eliminate and discourage the majority in their zeal to be seen to be eliminating back yard breeders which all of them are?

I keep remembering my friends words only recently. we are both long. long  long time members from the days when newbies were welcomed instead of viewed with suspicion.

no i better not repeat what she said come to think of it. last time I did I received a letter from the ankc it had been brought to their notice had had committed an offense.  sigh not safe to speak too much of the truth anymore

And is what began the foundation of the breeds we know today.

How on earth can we get this plastered far and wide before its too late?

It almost is too late

"

This copied from smith oats on regards to AJP policy........
“To phase out the sale of companion animals”
Let that sink in a moment, as animal loving owners I think this is too important not to share
Those words are from the ANIMAL JUSTIC PARTY “Phase out the sale of companion animals” do you really know what that means?
It’s fabulous that they want people to adopt dogs from a shelter BUT, is your courtyard size block really a realistic home for a working dog, Bull Arab or other large breed? Are these large breeds really suitable for your 2 year old to grow up with? Can your 10 year old safely walk the dog you purchase from a shelter? The sad reality is that MOST dogs in shelters are high energy working or hunting breeds, many of which are not suitable for suburban living or a young family.
“Mandate desexing at point of sale”
Sounds great BUT where does your next puppy come from? If all dogs are to be desexed, in 10-15 years when your current loved house pet sadly passes away WHERE does your next pooch or cat come from? Prices will skyrocket, the current average of 5k will soon turn into 15k when the demand doesn’t meet supply.
DONT let the animal justice party fool you with their gut wrenching stories of puppy farms and animal abuse cases, yes we know they exist, yes we know it happens, NO we do not agree with any of it but there are also ALOT of good breeders out there. The Animal Justice Party’s main aim is exactly what they have put in writing
TO PHASE OUT THE SALE OF COMPANION ANIMALS.
Please remember this post when the time comes to vote ❤️ think of your sweet little dog waiting for you at home and think, a house is not a home without a dog ❤️

spotted on face plant. This woman created PETA on 22nd March 1980.

She has worked tirelessly for all that 42 years  to achieve the extinction of our dogs and cats, as well every other domestic species is on their agenda for extinction.

every other animal rights group has the same agenda even if they do not realise they are part of peta agenda.

 301128674_10160996913728825_254143778682

The question now is it too late for the few who have woken up that the end is almost achieved and so far there is only one group  who have realised this, has formed a political party to fight for our companion animals.

I just never fail to be amazed how blind pet owners have been to the agenda of "we must eliminate puppy farmers" had nothing to do with protecting our dogs and cats but all about sending them extinct, even now so few understand that is the net result of strangulation laws that have been passed.

Everyone is so keen to make laws to "protect our pets" and assume everyone else is a potential cruelty case?

Yet remaining blind to the real agenda is the intended future is NO PETS!   ALL extinct?  I know of no one who wants a future with no pets, when will they wake up before its too late the decades of of harsher laws is not for the benefit of our animals at all?

Reminds me of the quote Alma at Kelvinator had on her office wall.

  • All the world  is queer save thee and me, and even thou art a little queer.

YET! Where is the zeal to protect targets of domestic violence? more than one a week is killed year in year out? "There were 370 victims of homicide and related offences – which includes murder, attempted murder and manslaughter – recorded in Australia in 2021. This was a decrease of 7% (26 victims) from the previous year."

Even though so many think animal cruelty happens on a massive scale the facts are the rspca prosecute a fraction of that number!   Where is the will to create stronger laws against domestic violence?

The human race is a very strange species

interesting, there are figures to be found.

in 2019-2020 financial year. From the Australian population of 25.69 million (2020)

In 2020: More than 1 in 2 (54% or 70,000) recorded assaults were related to family and domestic violence (excluding Victoria and Queensland), a 7.8% increase from 65,000 in 2019. Almost 2 in 5 (37% or 82) recorded murders were related to family and domestic violence (ABS 2021).7 July 2022

Note it states these figures are (excluding Victoria and Queensland) no idea how to find out what they are considering the population in both these states? the actual figures for all states could be double.

True that the majority of pet owners dont like or trust their own species, by the above figures, with good reason.

(But do we want all humans extinct to solve the problem?)

Complaints lodged with RSPCA

ACT       NSW       QLD       SA         TAS      VIC         WA     TOTAL

Investigated   1,304    14,425    18,260    4,139    2,171    10,745    6,866    57,910

There were,   304 Successful rspca prosecutions. The same year there were 396 domestic violence victims of homicide and related offences including murder, attempted murder and manslaughter.

So?

no hysteria about stamping out domestic violence comes even within cooee of the never ceasing calls to protect our pets from the  assumed mass of abusers?

DV website, first thing it does is warn you how to erase your browsing history for this site in case your partner accesses your computer?

the stats are staggering even though these figures are for the USA, same applies round the world

Only taken how many years now for enough  people to finally catch on even the ANKC has decided it cant continue the royals solution, never complain, never explain.

only a few decades late, but well,  better late than never

Even Hugh Ghent has put pen to paper or keys to work!

Election Information Group
Only Four sleeps to go, and pre-polling and postal voting has commenced, we need to spend that time getting the message to the voting public about the consequences of the Animal Justice Party retaining its seat in the Legislative Council. The messaging on 2GB has been loud and clear, the main statement being that the AJP will not let you own a dog, which probably needs explaining to some of the public, this does not literally mean they do not want people to physically have a dog, they just do not want people to own it. Subscribing to the mantra of the worldwide sisterhood of animal rights parties, they think pets are just too important to us for ownership to remain the law, they suggest that this designation degrades the role of animals in our lives to that of slaves and thereby limits their ability to obtain the rights they deserve. They believe that your legal status with respect to your pet should change from “pet owner” to “pet guardian.”
Guardianship means that you would be put in charge of your dog’s health and well-being for the rest of its life. Consequently, if the AJP got the law changed, dogs would be regarded like your children and less like your refrigerator, but while it seems a sound principle for those of us who already treat our dogs like children, changing this designation legally can get tricky.
In current law, the word usually appears as “guardian of the person” or “guardian of the minor” or a variation on that theme. According to legislative counsel, it would be extremely difficult, if not impossible, for a court of law to interpret current “guardian” laws to apply to animals.
The guardian would probably not be able to make medical decisions regarding that animal.
Public safety could be jeopardized since guardians would not have the same legal responsibilities regarding managing the actions of aggressive or dangerous animals.
Difficulty and lawsuits when a local government tries to enforce its animal control and public health regulations, as currently animals are regarded as property.
This is typical of the AJP seeking to impose legislation on us without any thought of collateral damage, this is why they must not be voted for, there are lots of Upper House Candidates from parties who opposed the Emma Hurst Bill in Parliament. 15 Liberals, 17 One Nation, 17 Shooters and Fishers. Supporters of the Bill were AJP, Labor, the Greens, and Fred Nile. There are 21 to be elected, so whatever the party of your choice, DO NOT VOTE ABOVE THE LINE, take your time, and choose at least 15 who are not giving preferences to the Animal Justice Party, make yourself a list to take with you when you vote.
