MDD are you thinking of MDR1? Here's a list of drugs that can give an MDR1 dog troubles...

Ivermectin (found in heartworm medications)

Loperamide (Imodium over the counter antidiarrheal agent)

Doxorubicin, Vincristine, Vinblastine (anticancer agents)

Cyclosporin (immunosuppressive agent)

Digoxin (heart drug)

Acepromazine (tranquiliser)

Butorphanol ("Bute" pain control).

If your dog is clear for the gene it shouldn't have a problem. :) but better safe than sorry :)

Simba is Gorgeous Blitza biggrin.gif

Nova and I had an agility seminar last weekend.

He also turned 18 months, he's matured a lot in temperament the last 6 months.

Nova and I have started full agility training now, putting together everything I've taught him separately into basic courses at training club. Starting everything at 200 height and moving upwards.

He got measured by my trainer on the weekend and he is only 5mm into the 600 category! The other Aussie at training is 500. Are many aussies 600 dogs?

We also have a working spot at an agility seminar next weekend smile.gif

Leo was 550 and jumped 600! Had he been a different physique he would have coped super well with it, even so I think he managed 600 fine :). In ADAA comps, most Aussies would jump 650 I think?

There are a few 600 boy Aussies over here in SA and some 500s. All the girls are 500. Ivy is one of the taller girls I've seen, she should still sneak into 500.

Ivy and I have just started 2x2 weaving. I've never trained 2x2 before but it's been fun so far.

2x2 weaving is heaps of fun - I love it - I'm going to try 2x2 for entries and Silvia Trkman's channel weaves for speed and consistency with Koda - we'll see how he goes!

From my measurements Quinn is 511mm, only little :) I'd love to see her next to some of the big boys!

haha - Tahli is 511 and Zara is about 525 - they look pretty much the same height as the boys - in fact I struggled to tell the size difference between KK and his mum Zara! haha

Mini Aussies have been around for a long time and they are not an Australian Shepherd.

My feelings on the matter are not suitable for public posting, lol. :mad

Amen to that!

I've just been on a short holiday with Ivy and my kelpie Ellie. Ellie and I did a couple of agility trials in Mount Gambier and Warrnambool and Ivy had a holiday lol. Took a million photos but here is just a few.

On top of the world. Centenary Tower in Mount Gambier. I nearly died walking up there but the girls were totally fine lol.

Great pics! Now I wish a little more that I had made the trek :o

Are you going to come to Warrnambool in March?

Hopefully. I've already put in my holiday time  I love it down there.

Ivy will be old enough to compete by then (she'll be 18 months old in 2 days!). Not sure if we'll be ready though. We're not in any rush so we'll see closer to the time

My little man is growing up.

Here he is having fun at our family farm. He has his goofy ears on but he's still adorable!

Cute video! :)

Its been awful quiet in here lately!!

Koda had a general check up at the vet today... I've been thinking he's feeling a bit skinny lately... the vet agree's with me. He's definitely under-weight... still weigh's 27kg though... I'm gonna change his food and hopefully he will gain some weight. Our goal is 30kg. If he doesn't gain weight with extra/new food then it may be an internal health problem, lets hope not though!

In the meantime, heres a recent pic of him :)

Koda is so beautiful!

Hopefully he puts some weight on for you.

Nova lost some weight the last few months, I've increased his food and meaty bone intake and he's gained it back, still a little bit thinner than I'd like at 23kgs, but he was down to 21kgs a few weeks back.

It's so interesting the different sizes Aussies can be!

Here is Nova last week in his dog club christmas party attire biggrin.gif

Been a long time since I've been in here as the small human takes up a lot of time!

Epic is over 600mm and 16 months old now  He just kept growing. Is still a dingbat though and waiting for his brain to catch up!
