  1. as my dog who doesn't usually go for treats unless she's hungry will attest to shoey has great treats! we found gemma aproved when she was sprung at training with her nose in shoe's bag wolfing down whatever was in there. whatever else she hasn't learnt from training, at least she learnt how to steal! (gemma, not shoey!)
  2. Thank God they changed their ways. I went there a few years ago to have a look, i didnt want to use a check chain and they pretty much said if Nova didnt wear one there is no point in training him there (the training was very check chain intensive and he was only a puppy!).......so i left and went to Frankston LOL this is the main reason i didn't go back to ADT-Gemma is used to a check chain but i was hoping not to need one with Molly.
  3. Gemma and I will be going to westernport again this sunday for our first real class-would you believe i've allready lost my nametag? I should have let the dog look after it for me. Anyone else going?
  4. we wanted to make sure she had some early socialization with dogs that weren't staffords. her classmates are a golden retriever, a cocker X and an oodle of some sort
  5. it would have been nice to do a puppy class with westernport-we ended up doing the one at the vet-we finish that tomorrow. I'm thinking molly needs a graduation gown and one of those silly board hat things -forgotten what they're called. ans whats a graduation without booze?
  6. thank god!!!!! wouldn't want to upset you! edit-answered the wrong post but no matter. I worked out u were GA shoey!
  7. wont have molly for a few weeks as they wont have her until her 3rd shots, which are due at 16 weeks. she's 13 weeks now so you'll have to wait 3 weeks! sorry
  8. they gave me a name tag-has my name and the names of my dogs. not my DOL name tho
  9. i think i saw him too-sitting between the agility ring abd the clubrooms when i was sitting doing my paperwork. i remember admiring him amd womdering what he was
  10. gemma and i got there just after 10, i sat and had a coffee while i waited for the instructor, we listened to the info and had our training session-and a quick poop about half way thru (gemma not me) then i sat with a coffee and filled out the paperwork. we left about 11:45.
  11. cats have the same laws as dogs regarding wandering-i bet this cats not registered too!
  12. Pity I didn't see this before I went down! Not that I know what blue merle looks like-my dog knowledge is fairly limited-but i'm learning. Gemma was a little overwhelmed and did a fair amount of growling-she either likes a dog or person or she doesn't-and she makes it obvious with a few low growls. she doesn't attack or bite-just growls. i think this will get better with more socialisation-she hasn't had alot to do with other dogs for a few years. anyway, we did our first class, i signed on the dotted line and handed over some cash and we'll be back next week.
  13. thanks for this-usually when i get to a place someone is always ready to tell me where to go-now they wont have to! feel free to say hi to gemma and myself if you work out which is us! This is Gemma
  14. Nice to see theres a few of you that go there-hopefully we'll meet at some stage. of course i'll have no idea who i'm looking for-but we'll work that out over time i'm guessing. Molly is 13 1/2 weeks old and has had her second C5 vaccinations. She has her 3rd lot at 16 weeks. so I guess she'll have to wait until then. oh-thanks for posting that link H20-i haven't been able to find it. Site looks good WMR!
