  1. Just regarding this bit. I've heard Belgians can carry recessive black. So if a Terv x Terv mating resulted in a black pup would it still be a Tervuren just miss marked or could it be registered as a Groenendael? A Belgian breeder would be best to answer this but I would think it would be the same as the opposite Groen X Goen produces a Terv it is registered as a Terv http://www.dogzonline.com.au/breeds/profile.asp?dog=80374
  2. https://www.facebook.com/groups/138904569582061/ Kellie took photos of the marked catalogue as each class completed. Don't need to be a member of the group to see the group.
  3. No but I did lose a pair of sunglasses near the secretaries office. My own fault for forgetting to retrieve them after coming out of the GS ring.
  4. That is correct for NSW however in Victoria the regulations are different. http://www.depi.vic.gov.au/pets/registration-legislation-and-permits/Microchipping-of-Dogs,-Cats-and-Horses/microchipping-information-for-authorised-implanters
  5. in addition to those results Wendy the Border Collie (Sup Ch Glentress Anastasia) was BIS
  6. http://www.cavalierclubvictoria.com/puppy-referral-officer.html Mum is the puppy referral officer listed. At the moment I don't believe there is anything available but some breeders including ourselves do have litters due. Your best option is to fill out the expression on interest form on the site.
  7. Emma Luxford's Sheltie Best in Show
  8. Carol and Frank's Zipper got DCC Faye Dodds Mia Ch Bromhund New Review was BCC and BOB
  9. What breed do you have puppy_dawgs? When it comes to candid ring shots, most of us tend to hang out at our own rings, I do try to cover as much and as many breeds as I can, but I tend to be drawn back to group 5 as it is the group that holds the most interest for me, I know others are the same you gravitate to what you know. Of course I don't think any photographer would have a problem with you requesting your dogs are photographed if you ask.
  10. Yep, the plush puppy grooming area is there again!
  11. All BOB and Puppy of Breeds are invited back to GS day. Babies compete for baby of the ring (All breeds that the judge in that ring judge on the day) and then each ring winner competes for baby of the day, so there will be 7 babies returning, one for each day. All Puppy of breeds will go in first and PIG is awarded. If a puppy is the BOB it will not go in for BIG if it does not win PIG. Puppy is shortlisted to 4 who all get a rosette armband. There is 1 winner. BIG then goes in, 8 shortlisted who get a a rosette armband, then placed 4th, 3rd, 2nd, 1st. Repeat for all groups. This year they also have breeders teams, I think they are running it like the babies. GS will be Baby in Show, Puppy in Show then Best in Show. Not sure when they will do Breeders teams. All breeds recognised by the ANKC are on the breed list by day whether there are any exhibited/in the country or not. There should be Lagotto and will definitely be Borzoi but I don't believe there are any Komondor in the country any more.
  12. With that pest if a dog who decided to be a pain in the a** for you! :p I was impressed on Sunday though he showed the best he has in a couple of months for me, so there was an upside to the weekend for him! Lol
