  1. No from a breeder - could be a BYB - but I think she breeds other dogs as well. I have lost her phone no!!! There is dry blood on the little mound between her legs (not anus!!) Sorry I have no other way to describe it! no way she is 6 months - too tiny
  2. OK!! First thing tomorrow!!
  3. Piper seems to be slowly bleeding down below. Someone actually said to me that it looks like she is on heat but she can't be at 10 weeks can she??? Should I take her to the vet??
  4. Piper seems to be sucking/chewing on her tongue while she is asleep - not every time - just in deep sleep I think! It sounds like a baby sucking on a dummy and her tongue is out of her mouth a couple of millimetres. Is this normal? Should I worry? Or is she just dreaming?? edited due to spelling! ?? duh!
  5. oh ok - that is good then! - I was hoping it wasn't something wrong!
  6. Piper is nearly 8 weeks old and her nose still has two pink spots on it - is this ok or not?
  7. I am only feeding Piper 2 meals a day - is that wrong? Indy never ate the 3rd meal I offered her so she was only on 2 a day too. I hope I am doing the right thing!
  8. He is a GORGEOUS dog Caspian!! His eyes say, "who me?" LOL
  9. And also, BasTyra - how awful for those little dogs!! I hope they stopped eating their poops after that - can't be very healthy hey??
  10. Thanks everyone - I probably was a bit sensitive and will keep a salt shaker beside me for further posts  I think Indy is slowly improving and spending a lot of time outside! I will perservere with the toileting breaks!!
  11. Some of you guys are really judgemental and it pisses me! I am asking for help here and some of you love to flame me down! My husband loves the dog as much as me so I also don't appreciate the unfair remarks about him! I am questioning if I want to stay with this site at all! Thank You to those who have answered constuctively - once again I do appreciate it! Thanks also K9 - I have saved that link - looks really helpful!
  12. sorry, was going to write that in last post, she is a King charles cavalier X Poodle
  13. I have said I AM NOT RUBBING HER NOSE IN IT!! I was just querying. I am taking her outside after sleep, feed, play etc but have got a bit slack as I thought she 'had it' She is only 10 weeks old so obvisouly I need to keep doing it for a few more weeks!? Thanks all for your answers - I do appreciate it! And I will try and leave her outside - you cannot see the yard from the street it is just a fear of mine to have her stolen!
  14. Thanks everyone I haven't rubbed her nose in it - and I might leave her locked outside whilst at work from now on - but I am scared she will get stolen or escape!! She was doing SO well with going outside, it is just the last few days that she has backtracked!
  15. Why do you say not to rub their noses in their business to stop the pups pooping and weeing inside?? I am not doing this but my hubby is getting mighty pissed at the amount of mess left when we get home from work! Indy has got access to outside but is doing her business inside?!!!!
  16. Well she seems to very healthy so I may have got lucky!! In future I will buy from a registered breeder - but that shouldn't be for about 12 yrs now! Thanks guys - you are all so helpful on here and I appreciate it!
  17. Thanks (for nothing LOL) guys!! She is sleeping in the laundry now and my hubby does go to bed quite late and she stays up with him. Maybe when she is bigger and sleeping outside it might improve
  18. Ok - she is sleeping through the night but wakes up INCREDIBLY early!! Will she learn to sleep past 5.30-6am??? (I finsihed having babies who woke me up early - now this pup is doing it!?!) LOL
  19. I have read on here that you should not get your pup until 8 weeks of age - unfortunatley I did not read this until I had bought my 6 week old pup from a BYB. Anyways - I was informed the other day that although she had had her 1st vaccination it could take 2 weeks for it to kick in - hence the 8 week old ready to leave litter question?! SO - She is nearly ready for her 2nd shots but I am worried as I have taken her out to parks etc (not near other dogs though!) and wonder if she was covered for diseases during this time?
  20. LOL - I went for the quietest one but I wouldn't really say she is a quiet dog - just less than her litter mates!!
  21. Thanks Sunny Luckily (and touch wood) she does sleep through the night without wanting to go outside - it is just the early mornings now!!
  22. I am having similair probs with my 9 week old pup - I thought she was 'toilet trained' after going outside 9 times out of 10! So I got lazy and stopped taking her outside to toilet - we now are giving her more of an area inside the house and she has started to pee inside again! We are just going to go back to taking her outside after each feed, sleep and play until she gets it 100% - hopefully this will be before 6 months of age!
  23. I am sorry but I laughed!! I am sure it is a very serious problem and I hope someone can help - my pup is a girl so I don't have a clue!!
