RnR that's rotten - KC sux out of curiosity, has he had the KC vaccine?
i would say count me in on the book, except that I have about a million books to read for other sports and one day, I might actually get to the point of starting something instead of just having books. If Lulu continues to be my superstar, I may actually get her to agility one day.
He is fully Vaccinated The Vet confirmed that it was KC and has prescribed a dose of Doxycyline.
Hmm, were you at the shows on the last 2 weekends? Banjo woke me up at 1am this morning and I am fairly sure he has KC too I won't take him to the vet until Friday though if he isn't better or will make an appointment if it gets worse. Wonder how long before my other 2 get it... then all 4 of us can be coughing together. Banjo last had a KC jab 2 years ago. But the only other time we had KC go through our dogs even the recently vaccinated dogs got it with only my old sheltie who had bronchial problems anyway and hadn't been vaccinated in 6+ years not getting it!
.
Yeah been at both its horrid.. poor boy! As soon as I woke up and heard him I pretty mucb put it down to KC but wanted to make sure.
Will be taking two weeks off from showing to make sure that he is clear.

I'm of to the vet this morning with Ben. It seems to me he has picked up Kennel Cough! You know he is not feeling well when he is happy to lay in his crate and sleep when being inside.. Fingers crossed its not.. but I am about 99% sure it is

You're invited!
A few of us (me, mirawee, amypie and rallyvalley) are heading to the show Wicked on the 31st July at Burswood and are meeting up for dinner beforehand, partly because we need to eat anyway and partly in celebration of my big birthday the next day.
I am opening up the dinner invite to our WA thread folk if anyone would like to help me celebrate (or console me). The restaurant hasn't been picked yet, but it will be in the Burswood complex due to the show being there. The restaurants there are pretty pricey so my vote goes for Carvers buffet. It's about $22 a head I think, which includes endless soft drink.
Please let me know if you'd like to join us! Would love to see some of you there! We are also going to have some drinkies and head to the casino after the show so anyone is welcome to join us then, too. But as it's a Sunday night, I can't see many people opting for that. But dinner will be early enough for you to get home and prepare yourself for work the next day! (I have the Monday and Tuesday off :D)
We went to see Wicked last night!! you will love it! Also went to dinner at the Carvery. $60 for two people. I wasnt that impressed with the food they had but I am rather fussy!

I had some time on my hands :D
naw!! He is handsome!

I am looking at getting Ben a treadmill so I can get his fitness up. Its hard to do much without the OH being home to watch the fluffy thing!!
The only issue I am finding is that Im worried that the actual belt wont be long enough? Rough Ideas on how long I should be looking at??

Yikes RottiesNRags - are you OK? The car is replaceable you aren't!
Yup all good here..
Just annoying... Brand new car, its been doomed since the day I got it.. 18,000km and I am just about ready to get something else!
Maybe I will go back to a V8 and get a trailer for the dogs! *hmmmmm*

I had to visit ranford today due to the Rottweiler cutting open his pad on the front foot! Not the best way to tell me he wants a break from showing.. But I get the hint now.
Back there tomorrow for surgery to stitch him back together! Hope everyone had a good weekend with their fur kids :)
