Thanks so much :)

Thank god they won't be doing it again. I hope that ranger is sacked I can't understand why they cannot employ people with some empathy and compassion.

Jana is fantastic I know she is on here but here is her website http://www.pawsforthoughts.webs.com/

I'm horrified they kept Lennox contained in a concrete pen for 2 yrs and allowed no contact with his loving owners. The condition of the dog deteriorated so much, it must have been a living hell for him. Shame on Belfast Council, hope Karma comes back to Bite those responsible.
RIP Lennox
My feelings exactly!
My view is that once Lennox became a cause celebre, Belfast City Council and whichever bureaucrat was in charge of this area, decided that they couldn't be seen to back down.
And again.
Just so sad...

Aww so sorry hear that she has passed. we can only do our best.

Iam in a similar situation as you atm. Litter of 8 one little boy never seem to be able to latch on and stay on mum, thank goodness a friend took and tube feed him as I was trying with a bottle and a eye dropper and he would have died if she hadn't helped me. This little boy wasn't the runt born and all the others are double his weight but he is a fighter and is now at 4 weeks old over 600gms.
Anyway to cut a long story I can now tube feed puppies and I have also been feeding him solids since he was under 3 weeks.
This is the mixture Iam using 40mls goats milk, 40ml water and 2 scoops of Divetalac than shake it. Iam doing 4-5 hrs feeds and then I mix advance rehydatable biscuits soaked and beef mince make it into a mushy mess and warm it and hand feed it I usually mix it in with some of the milk mixture.
A full tummy and warmth can make all the difference. I hope she makes it for you .

I think it is a disgrace Gloucester is NOT the middle of nowhere it is not that far to Newcastle. Why would he have to do this there are plenty of Rescues, Vets and the RSPCA is at Rutherford is not that far.

I do love most dogs regardless of breed but Cavaliers and Rottweilers are my favorite.
And my least favorite would be staffies and Chi's although I have met a couple that I didn't mind but overall not for me. :)

Cutting up bait that morning only to get to a show to find you forgot it.
This is me alot of the time although I usually cut it up the night before.

Just wanted to wish everyone a wonderful Christmas and New year!!!
Nevafollo love your babies!!! I have just realised we live in the same area maybe we could say hello at the next show at Hillsborough?
My babies had their health check, needles and microchipping done today and they came through with flying colours!
The first of my babies goes to his new home on the 27th I hope I don't cry in front of the people. I have been so fortunate in finding such lovely homes for the boys!

My precious little love is 9 days old and looks like a Zhu Zhu Hamster!
She does! So cute I can't believe its been 9 days!
Mr Schu
Mr Sch is cute too!
Mine were 5 weeks on Tuesday. Ive got people coming to look at them on Saturday. Ive decided to run a boy on as well typical me.

Some sad news, one of the pups wasn't thriving and failed to put on much weight from birth, yesterday she gave up the fight to stay here, so Amber is left with her 5.
Sorry to hear that Becks. Rip little girl

I have my fingers and toes crossed for you Liz. I forgot to say THANK YOU for your kind offer of help. We supplemented for the first couple of days, but her milk has come in properly now and they are ALL gaining weight at a rate of knots! So I'm delighted about that, and I can get a full nights sleep again!
If you need some puppy socialisation time later on we'll have our dogs at the farm over Christmas, which is in Steels Creek, so you'd be welcome to let her run around with our crazy lot!
Aww so lovely!
Gorgeous!
Ive just updated my website if anyone would like to have a look at the pups, they are getting so big and active wrestling, fighting, playing. They are the biggest time wasters!

Sunni is dropping coat as well she is almost 5 weeks post whelping Ive got a feeling she is going to look worse before she looks better although her coat is really shiney, I think all the nutrients are going to feeding the pups. All my dogs are shedding atm so Ive got so much red hair floating around. It just could be that time of the year.
Maybe take her to the vet just to be sure?

The other names we've thought you could use with a TV theme are:
"Good Times" - JJ
"Mad About You" - Murray or Jamie
"Futurama" - Leela or Bender
I need more TV shows that fit the rule of "they make us laugh" and "their name sounds okay as a registered name" and "there is a character with a name I could live with as a call name"...... Feel free to help out though hopefully 4 will have me covered.
I can't help myself.... what about Magnum PI ? HAHA!
I can't remember what he was called on the show show but Tom or Selleck make nice names too.
-
Iam going with Seeker and was trying to keep fire, heat etc in the names as this comes from Sunni's side of her pedigree.
So Sunni is Sun Seeker and the puppies I think are going to be-
Star Seeker
Fire Seeker
Storm Seeker
Ice Seeker
I think these are it their call names we still can't decide I think Iam calling the little girl Iam keeping Ava and she will be Star Seeker. I want to call the boys Hamish and Andy but I need a third name for one of the boys maybe Gilbert. I could also call my girl Andi and if I run a boy on as well Ill have Hamish and Andi I love their show

Congratulations!! 11 a big litter.
Here are some pictures of my precious solitaire! :D
Congratulations!! She looks so sweet! Are you going to call her Solitaire?
Hmmm...maybe? Use it somehow! Long road before she gets a name though. But she's here and that was a major concern and a huge first obstacle.
Ive been giving it some thought but I am not very good at thinking of good names but (your prefix) "My Solitaire" or "On her Own", for her call name as her mum is Crystal I was trying to think of some precious stone as it sort of all fits together.
My daughter wants to call her Emma-lee, I like Em or Emmy. My husband gave me an Emerald Solitaire when we got engaged, so....."Wandalier Emerald Solitaire" ?? Maybe.
Plenty of time yet. Naming is hard isn't it.
I really like both names!!
I wish I could settle on some names for mine

Mine were 270 to 290 they were big! Now they are smallest 1.220 and the largest 1.380. Since Ive never had a Cavalier litter I wasn't sure. The lady who bred Sunni said they were great weights.

Beautiful I also love the one she is cuddling her pup.
Hey Guys I'm the last one but Saffioraire posted in the December thread.
Her White Shepherd Kesari had 11 pups in 6 hours on the 28th!
Great effort for a maiden.
Now I believe we are "all aboard who are coming aboard".
Meanwhile we have had a great night with Crissy being an awesome 1st time mum and pup feeding and cuddling up well all warm and cosy.
Thats great!
How is everyone going vetting pet home enquiries? To be honest I have knocked one or two people back when I do have probably two puppies left. Something just didnt sit right. The people I definately am selling to have been FANTASTIC! They were all very excited as I sent them pics the other day, I may send them all some more soon as well. I have changed my add on DOL to include possible having a show bitch available so will be interesting to see if I have any enquiries about that. At this stage I am keen to keep a boy and if theres a nice bitch in there that someone wants to show Im more than happy to work with someone would just have to find the right person if you know what I mean if not all the girls will go to pet homes
I haven't advertised yet Ive had a couple of emails from my website they are interstate and I don't want to send them interstate unless I know the person. Iam going to put a ad on DOL soon and maybe through the Cav Club.
My pups were 4 weeks yesterday and they are all over 1 kilo. I cam home from work today and all 4 had escaped the whelping box! They are wrestling and playing it's so much fun watching them.

I doubt you will change her mind if she is determined to do this but I don't understand the rush why can't she wait till after the babies are born?
I have twins and when I was pregnant with them I had a puppy it is hard try toilet training when you are the size of a house and having trouble bending over it is not fun! At 30 weeks I looked like I was full term with one child and I went full term let me tell you it was a killer.
I had good babies so after it was easier for me to cope with walking etc as she was an active girl.
What if she has problems with pregnancy the puppies will not get the attention they need what if she is in hospital with pregnancy problems. I think she is being very selfish not really thinking clearly. I hope you can change her mind.
