Congratulations Smisch - State Champ is an awesome achievement
Well done Rubystar and your girls for some really nice work by the sounds of it!
-
Well done Jess ;)
DSO yep am planning on going to Dover as well - are you going to be doing open there?
-
Am very happy with both my boys after the obedience mock trial this morning.
As Ness said was Riv's first time in a UD ring and putting exercises together and he did a great job for a first attempt although did have some interesting moments like deciding to sit in the box on the finish for the gloves ;)
Zuma also had his first time in the ring for CCD and super happy with him as well.
They both need a bit more work and I know it's a massive jump from a mock trial to a real one but today was a great start especially since I've been doing a lot of training on my own but think it might be time to join a club now!

Awesome stuff Caffy, Alex, Ptolomy, Beans and Scoota and Emmy the ring in too ;)
-
I'm completely uneducated when it comes to dogs & planes, flying and all that. I found some info on the virgin airlines site, but I'm still a bit in the dark.
People who have flown their dogs (with or without you), what airline did you go through? What sort of crate do you use? Did you hire or use your own? I'm interested in any info
I've flown my guys with Virgin - the guys at Adelaide airport are fantastic ;) I've hired a crate once (is pretty expensive though) but now have my own for both of them - a PP40 from Toll for Riv and a Vari crate for Zuma.
-
Congratulations Shell and Zero that's a great achievement

Happy first birthday Cider ;)
-
Nice work Seita and Ella
Have you entered another UD trial yet?
-
Ness worked really nicely tonight well done
-
How much warming up does everybody do before going into the ring???
I do nothing at all with Riv but do prefer being able to have a little bit of time before we go in as he seems to prefer to know what's going on around him a bit first rather than being rushed straight into the ring from his crate.
-
Wow what a fantastic round TerraNik well done Hopefully next time he'll be able to wait that little bit longer in his stays for the reward!
-
Well done KathQ and Coco and Seita and Ella looking forward to seeing the rest of Ella's round, the seekback looked great
Congratulations Ptolomy and Scoota on a great day by the sounds of it
-
Bad luck Huski, it definitely makes it hard when you get caught out and have to rush into the ring but sounds like you still had plenty of positives to take out of it so well done
-
Congratulations on the new addition Seita, Mack looks adorable! And best of luck for your UD on the weekend as well.
-
Yes, thanks guys, that is what I meant by the mood changes - mine. I go all serious and take away the fun, so I am going to make an effort to train in the ring like I do out of it!
I know it's easier said than done RubyStar but if you can manage to do this it really works - think it has made a world of difference to Riv's attitude in the trial ring the last couple of times we've done obedience
-
Oops sorry Ptolomy wasn't around to post photos of the new one for you - was off drinking cider so I'm sure you'll understand
He is very cute but wouldn't expect anything less from a Toller Can't wait to hear all about him when he arrives.
-
Congratulations Amypie and Kyzer for a fantastic day
-
Very nice DOR and COP
Lots of really good bits of work in there well done and hoping you get the stays sorted out, is she still nervous about them?
-
I think that definitely counts as a brag Kathq well done  And best of luck for next week too.

Thanks for your good thoughts everyone and Riv is almost back to his normal self this morning after we all had a good night's sleep which I think we all needed!

-
Congratulations to everyone, seemed to be a great end to the weekend for lots of you :D
