I have had this happen to me in the past with different bitches, it is heartbreaking especially when no one can give any answers

so I would be interested also in any thoughts anyone may have...

Will also add my girls progesterone levels did not drop at all so this wasn't their problem..

Thankyou all, hey its been nearly a week and I am STILL smiling...lol and Lexie thought she was all that and the bag of chips.. but she is now back to being the "ferral farm kid" for the time being and enjoying being filthy dirty whenever possible :D

I have NEVER been to the Ekka let alone exhibited, but the Bullies were on sunday this year so I could go without worrying about the kids, not in my wildest dreams did I expect to get CC let alond puppy in group......especially with the line up that there was!!!! Definately stoked and will be for awhile to come

A little brag for my girl, this was our first ever Royal, she took bitch CC/ r.up BOB and puppy of breed last sunday 8th, then came back yesterday and was awarded Puppy in Group....... and she had only just turned 8mths....

We have babies....well baby :rolleyes:

C-section today, 1 lovely coloured boy, just gorgeous but sadly we also had a white boy who did not make it :D R.I.P little one.

Mum is a bit sore but fantastic and doing well, pics when I am able to get new batteries for the camera :D

The first litter is one we have been trying to get for about 2 years but she kept missing .....and assumed she would again, so mated my other girl, this is her 2nd and last litter as she is only getting older, and bugger me, I have both expecting, but so very excited and pleased...

Now if only my Cassie would indulge me and give up her bloody babies!!! lol

All good things come to those who wait I suppose, but its the waiting I can't stand.... she had 3 matings over a week so obviously she didn't take to the first 2, so looks like this tuesday is the one.......hopefully

Well been away from the forum for a little while, sorry to hear of all the sadness that has happened, my heart does go out to each and every one of you....had a girl reabsorb early on this year and another abort a litter in the 6th week end of last year...

Well Partipaws, seems you and I are once again expecting the same time....

Bull Terriers expected......NOW!!!! lol she is huge and being ever so selfish in keeping them to herself...

My guys are always kept "fit" and well muscled but the ones I show are usually 1-2kgs heavier than the ones retired.....

basically I am the opposite to this lady, I drop them down when they are retired..

Here is an e-mail I received yesterday, from a lovely family that has my wee little girl "Ripley" from my last litter (december).... I love the way it is written from Ripley...

Woof woof!!!! Its Ripley here.....just wanting to let you i have settled into my new home very nicely....i am loving my new family.....mummy and daddy say im growing lots already...i can now jump up on the couch and the beds...uh oh!!! I love playing in the yard but i dont like the wet grass from the rain.......i get very excited to see mummy or daddy after they been at work...they have given me lots of toys to play with and im smothered with kisses and cuddles......i even get special treats from the puppy shop like pig ears and bones.......i think i have won mummy over and have become a mummys girl she calls me her princess:):)I love to go for walks with daddy and the boys to the park and run through the bushes......i have been trying very hard to be gentle with the kids but sometimes i get a little excited!!! I like to wake up very early for a play....mummy lets me go and wake daddy up and i give him big morning kisses....... I like to chew on everything...hehe...oops....but im a puppy hey i love shoes the best and biting at ppls clothes but when i get made to stop i behave.......im getting much better at toilet training and i love the bath and i even follow mummy or daddy into the shower....Daddy says he cant wait to take me to the beach..hopefully at easter......mummy and daddy have attached some recent photos of me for you to see.....i even like to pose sometimes...... send my love to my real mummy and to all my friends at chopperlodge.....miss u all but im loving my new family and am trying very hard to be a good girl!!!

Well my babies are now 5 1/2 weeks old, growing so fast.

We "attempted" to take some stacked pics today, it was an adventure but all in all they didn't turn out too bad.

Through trial and error, we soon learned that the best time to take the pics was when they had just eaten, hense the big fat bellies

Will have to get some photos up of my kids soon, they are now 4 1/2 weeks old and growing like weeds.

They are now having "real food" twice/day whilst still getting mum 3 times/day (trying to slowly dry her up is proving

easier said than done, she is still like a freaking dairy cow)

They are now at that terrific "time wasting" stage and who am I to fight it

Rosie & the babies were in the Daily Telegraph today, journo's shit me though, got Sugar's cause of death wrong, and really missed the whole point of the newspaper being contacted in the first place (losing her due to vet's incompetence). But I guess it did come across as a feel good story, even though they called them rare when I specifically said they are NOT! Photo is cute, but I'm still fuming about the write up, me thinks I even threw the paper & cracked a mini tantrum ;)

Hey, I don't blame you if you chucked a tantrum, loosing to vet incompetence is no joke and I know how you feel, (had this happen to me earlier in the month with my foal and thanks to idiot vets not listening, he died due to kidney failure at 18days old).

Those 2 little boys look a picture of health and "step" mom looks as happy as, just gorgeous.

At 3 weeks there is no earthly reason why you cannot begin supplementing them with solid food. Instead of topping them up with Biolac (essentially expensive and really not that necessary at this age), offer them some solids.

Start with some very fine mince and put it on your fingertip and offer it to them. If they take it without question, move onto pink slushies and you'll find that they will be happier and so will your bitch. 3 weeks is such a rapid growth period that even if you don't want to, often you HAVE TO start introducing solids, if only for the sake of your peace and sanity and that of the dam as well.

This is what I am going to have to start this week, (my ferocious ferrals are 3 weeks now).
