  1. We have witching hour, dog and kid (aged 5) go crazy. Usually we manage it by keeping them separated. Kid gets a snack and dog outside with a chew of some sort (usually a kong or pigs ear). Dog then does not come back in until after dinner time (is around us when eating breakfast and lunch so learning table manners still).

I then get to cook, talk to my child and dog is safe and happy. Whining usually starts once he hears the table scraps in his bowl and he knows dinner is coming lol.

  2. I can help with that :D

Marshall is 5 months old now, very cheeky and so much fun :)

After a big walk, he was tired out.

  3. I got our pup over a month ago.

He was flown in and his puppy pack posted a week later (had to wait for certificate). He walked out the door, we carried him over the road to the car. We then stopped at a petrol station and let him out to toilet. We had to drive home which was 4 hours away and he was 9 weeks old. We did 2 other stops and let him off on the side of the road, not in public spaces as such. Id make him wait if you could.

The crate was rented so I asked for it to be returned to the breeder.

  4. My pup has only met 2 dogs. First he was 10 weeks old and pretty full of himself. She was an older dog and very friendly so he just got to do what he wanted and she followed around.

Second dog was on the weekend and he met him through a gate on neutral grounds. They were happy to play after a few seconds of sniffing. My pup spent most of his time on the ground being submissive but once he worked out how the other dog wanted to play they were sharing sticks and playing chase.

I have another week before he will go to Dog Obedience classes.

  6. My pup is 14 weeks old now.

My vacuum dispenses treats if you ask him. My birds go crazy and he doesnt even bat an eye lid. My 4 year old chucks tantrums and hes not fussed. The bin truck is amazing and hes not got a worry in the world (expect the wolves on the TV tonight had him worried but I just ignored him and played with a few of his toys and he was edgy but not in a panic).

Walking on lead we havent really started other than to control his wandering range but Im usually moving in the same direction anyway.

Hes met 2 other dogs while being here but hes due to start dog obedience next week.

  7. Marshall had his last shots this week, so can head out in 2-3 weeks. Im excited ????

He got into my sons playroom so we had a few toy casualties but most stuff survived.

His training is going well and will work for cheese or dehydrated chicken lol.

Seems to think that standing at the back gate warrants enough warning he needs a wee so we get a few accidents when everyone is busy rushing around.

Ratbag is able to now jump, sorry launch himself onto the couch lol. Just have to teach him how to sit and enjoy it not try and eat my seats lol. Ill have to try getting some new photos of him, I think hes grown again!'

  8. Toilet training is good, almost there ???? Only ever pooped in the house once, thankfully. Wees he can hold a bit longer but we know his signs or he sits at the back gate whining.

Nipping/biting he's responding to no more so less incidents, still steals off with shoes and clothing but drops them.

    Photos I can do ????

  9. Hes doing well, we argue less now. Very set in his routine lol. Will be shocked when hubby goes back to work Monday as hes had us about the place for 4 weeks.

Likes hunting bugs, back chatting and chasing my son about but seems much happier at nights when we are all relaxed and he can see us, has too many places to check when we are all busy.
