  1. Congratulations to the Pointernuts crew on Best Baby in Show with little Olivia - Turnix Sin City!! :cheer::cheer: :D

thanks weisnjac, it was Olivia's first Baby Puppy In Group as well, she was fantastic, even stopping to point a bird while moving for Baby puppy of breed  she is slowly catching up to her litter brother Cooper :p here's hoping for a bright Show future for her

  2. um... ahh... guilt trip!

(that actually has had some affect  )

Good, the guilt trip worked a little, now for a different approach, YOU should do it for all of us who would love to show a Dog as well as you but cant, the vway you showed Hiro in Taree was worth buying tickets to see,

SO, you would be doing the DOG WORLD a huge favour by.................

FILLING OUT THOSE DAMN ENTERIES AND GET YOUR BUTT BACK INTO THE RING WHERE IT BELONGS

here's some icing for the cake, remember, even Junior Handlers need a HERO

  3. ASHANALI we can still remember our phone chats when we were trying to convince you into letting us have Hiro, and you were saying how you would like to have him Shown......................... WELL its one of the best things that we have ever done, and it was due to YOU, remember when it was all still very exciting, the first challenge points, the first Group, meeting and chatting with great people, ( forget the horrible chats ) so ......................................

GET YOUR BUTT INTO GEAR, FILL OUT THOSE ENTRIES AND ENJOY YOURSELF

  4. Our boy Hiro would make a awesome Therapy Dog, even from a pup he has had the most gentle nature, My wife who works in a Aged Care Facility, regularly takes Hiro into work to visit the Residents, they love him and always look forward to his next visit, and our Vet would like to have him accredited to do hospital visits.

Hiro's Litter sister Priah is staying with us for a while, and she too would be a great Therapy Dog, her Nature is lovely and is the most affectionate Pointer that I have Know,

But not all of Pointers would be suitable for this, as some are not as laided back,

Energy Needs, ours have free roam of the yard during the day and the lounge at night, we free run them 3 or 4 times a week in a very large fully enclosed area and they are lead walked as often as possible, this seems to be the ideal for our Babes,

  5. our Pointer girl had a similar problem, we found a excellent guy who works on Greyhounds, Bella has had only 2 sessions when has worked her back end and the difference is all most unbelievable, I would suggest that finding someone in your are through a Greyhound trainer would be worth while, we have taken Bella to a Vet lots of times and she did make some improvements but the Guy who works on Greyhounds is awesome.

all the best and good luck

  6. Is Chicken Wings - the whole thing safe?

Ricky ate a couple raw and then had trouble pooping and squealed, I think the little bits of bone in his pooh had scratched is bottom

We feed chicken wings to our Pointee's 3 or 4 times a week, but they are a bigger dog, and they crunch them up very well, may be chicken necks, might be a better idea for smaller dogs.

Dry food, I have asked this question to lots of people, we use Pro Plan, but some people say that their dogs, big, small, Show or pets do really well on the cheaper brands, I don't want to try it as the Pointee's are doing really well on the variety of foods that they get now.
