  1. Definately a trip to the vet or chiro my BC pup went lame at 5mnths thought he had pulled a muscle running in the yard it ended up being OCD lesions in both shoulders! Definately keep your pup quiet until you get a vet or chiro opinion!

  2. It was a great day I have taken away a lot of info after not knowing what to expect at all. I can only hope one day my pups will be up there strutting their stuff like all of you who gave demo's. I can't wait to get them to trials! Lot's of work ahead of me but looking forward to it! Again I'm one of those shy ones look forward to meeting you all again another time! I didn't realise how many Dolers were there sounds like it was nearly all of us! Thanks Steve I know I'll be intouch for more training!

  3. With great sadness I gave my darling boy his wings this morning. We will miss you terribly you weren't with us for long but you have touched our hearts and you will never be far from our thoughts! You need to cross the bridge now and run pain free :champagne: R.I.P my lil buddy Beau xo

  4. A Northside Brisbane one is Chermside Quality Meats in the shopping centre up near Coles I buy 10/15kg box of chicken mince for nxt to nothing fresh then I bag it and freeze it into portions I wnt. I think they also have 1kgbags frzn cheap chicken necks and frames as well! I just ring and ask them for it and tell them a day I'll drop down and pick it up!

  5. My bc pup is currently on supercoat puppy dry food which she is not enjoying. Her coat is dull and her poo's can be sloppy. So i am wanting to change her dry food and am after some recommendations.

    Cheers

Hi Babydol my BC pups are on Optimum but also with a mix of raw meat and vege their coats are shiny and my older girl who used to hate any dry will make sure she eats the whole bowl now! If her poo can be sloppy though there may be an ingredient not agreeing with her

  6. I am from Adelaide so can't help you out with specifics of training whereabouts but I know there are a few places around Brisbane that offer herding training. This is 1 place that I have seen mentioned: http://www.workingsheepdogshow.com/

You could also try contacting the Border Collie Club of QLD - I know they run herding trials so would assume they have some info on who offers training and where.

Good luck, but beware - it is highly addicitive

Thanks Piper hopefully will be able to get somewhere with those two contacts appreciated and I've finally found a phone number for BCCQ that works as well! I look forward to it being addictive!

  7. Hi wondering if anyone could help me out, wish to learn herding with my BC pup she is 4 1/2mnths old at the moment and we live in Brissy and would like to know a little more she is showing a keen interest at helping pen my ducks and chooks at night already :(
