Yes we got reply back yesterday from vet board, so far only vets response which there is a large number of lies in. We can however prove quite a lot for the wrongful death of our beautiful girl. Its been 5mths now & still finding it very difficult to let go of all the suffering witnessed. Only found 1 Solicitor who will has successfully sued a human doctor. he will take case on. Does anyone know of any solicitors that will take on Vets? What was the response from the Vet Council? Do you mean they haven't finished investigating yet? If it were me, I'd hold fire until the investigation was over & see what they find. Have you been allowed to submit evidence or testify? From my understanding, the vet will be penalised if they have clearly been negligent or have did something that a good vet should not do or otherwise have breached the code of professional conduct. If they did something that was a reasonable option but had unfortunate consequences, they won't be penalised, since sometimes even the best vet won't get it right. At least that's the way it works over here. I guess Aussie could be different. Just the ist response back from vet board so far, writing back to continue investigating, contacting solicitor also. just need as much info as possible as they really do need to be held accountable once & for all for all people that have been in this position as the greiving is very real & it needs to be recognised.

Need support to get voice out there, wish we could name these bad vets, 2 Vets gave no information on tablets given which turned out to be 'not for use in animals' by the TGA. Large doses given which severlely dehydrated her. found out through their report they overhydrated her also, no mention of front leg swollen 3 times the size. The cruel suffering witnessed after being allowed to take her home when she was supposed to be monitored very closely on these god so forgiven "tablets". The list is endless. Oh please please anyone that can help, these vets really do need to be"held accountable" Have lost a child.!!

Has anybody successfully sued Australian Veterenarians in court for neglegenc?

No don't understand it. I think she may have switched off on her 14th Day as she did let out a few screams when they were trying, Maybe he hurt her or broke her hymen & she got frightened off. Did try with another stud she let him have a couple goes but that was it. So I am dissapointed as I really wanted her to have a litter this time but I,ll have to wait next season now.

I am giving the pair a rest tonight as I really think they have had enuf probably a little too much, Will check the girl 2moro & see. -
No, I think its just inexperience & early days so I will give them a go tonight, the Bitch isn't really ready yet, Its all just practice at present but I can see he is getting more hard at it every time he tries. Resting them again now. TRhanks lol he should sleep well tonight I hope

I hope this won't be a miss as my other maiden didn't take just a few weeks ago.
-
I have to assist on my own for now but i gota go separate again. lol
-
I have put some lubricant on her.
-
I will give them a bit more time but I do have to separate constantly as they just want each other wen i let them out togther so he can rest, he's on her all time, I dont want him to get completely exausted. She is now letting out a soft srceam so he must be getting close but being only the 10th day i will give them more time & her volva isn't quite ready, just letting them practice for a while.
-
Yes that s fine, i know they can have same probs just as us humans.
-
Yes thank you, I am aware that the vulva should be swollen like a peach & soft at the top, i think i might be just worrying too much, but thankyo to everybody for their right advice as i so appreciate it as i havnt contact with mum (reg Breeder for 45yrs) at present. thank you
-
Yes thank you for that advice sounds good. I get worried about him being exausted but keepn a very closr eye on them. I have had to separate on & off all day. Arrr the joys of dogs, you gota love em every minute you have with them. thak you kindly

Oh thank you sooooo much for your support that sounds like an extremely good idea. Iwill take that on board. thank you for that. We have Beautifiul dogs such gentlemen. thank you again lol
-
As Sandra said, he won't drop it out and wave it around. What I'm getting at is whether or not he has EVER extended it or whether there might be an issue with the opening? As far as the breeding is concerned, I'm more wondering if the bitch is actually ready and the dog is TRULY excited and ready to go. If a bitch is bang on, then if the dog is interested, nothing would stop him. tes I know that thank you for your help, I might have a look at his opening, They both are eager but its their ist time ever truly this far of the mating. I pulled out of the last mating with another dog last yr as he was too rough. My boy is a gentleman. They are Border collies from gnd Ch lines they are sleeping at the moment I,m glad. I have been going crazy as the wanting for each other gets stronger. They are separated at night.

Yes i am resting them till late this sarvo & try again. I don't have help at the moment. I have tried putting the bitch over my legs/knees to keep her still & stimulate him, He looked like he was getting the idea after that & I think he "touched" the spot but didnt hit. I have tried guiding him also. Maybe i need to guide more.
