We live in NT and I had one of my dogs done a few years ago with no side effects, however none of my current dogs get anything more than a C3. I am aware if the risks but my dogs sleep inside and we don't have trees that attract bats and we keep the yard clear. For me the chance of them contracting Lepto is not great enough to warrant pumping more drugs into them.

Thanks for your reply .. It is a requirement for her to travel to thailand so we need to get the vaccination done and we could not leave her behind ...

I have had rescue dogs receive a C7 when we are rehoming into Northern Qld. They have shown no side effects.

Are you intending on remaining in Thailand for the life of your dog? From what I understand you cannot import a dog back to Australia direct from Thailand.

Hi everyone ! New to site just need some feed back on leptospirosis vaccinations for my dog .. We are moving to thailand in January and our dog needs to get some vaccinations done my question is has anyone had this vaccination done and is there any side affects I have done research online and still confused .. I also read that you can just have blood check to clear her of the leptospirosis. Thanks any help would be greatly appreciated ..
