I love poodles congrats on the bubs. Well surviving on 3 hours sleep,Hope
has finally excepted her pups so hopefully I may get some sleep around
the visitors today and get some photos.Black pups are so hard to get so
definition other than a blob but I will try.
Thanks for all the congratulations this litter was really planned and wanted
and to get a girl made my day. Both little ones are here to stay, especially
as Mum had to be spayed as well.
-
yes they where big for only being 60 days gestation. The ceasar was only
done as her temp dropped last night and when the vet checked her today she
was fully dilated. They would have been huge by Monday when she was booked
in to be done.

well we have 2 big pups, a boy and girl born this morning. Mum ok sore after
her c-section and resting quietly. Pups are black tri's. 165g and 155g. I will
post photos soon.

I hope the others go well.

I like the little merle girls.
-
wow even that is good. I had 7 Chi pups here at one time all within a week of each other last year
and I was so glad when they went home. I am looking forward to the 2 my girl is having.
-
hope all goes well Partipaws. My girl is due next Monday but the vet said we could ceasar her
this Friday, I am unsure at this stage. She does look as though she will burst.
-
congrats for the other litter, your girl looks happy.

No it wasnt the girl with the problem anal glands it is the other one
maybe it was good Hope has been on ABs for the past week, they
both were scanned yesterday Hope has 2 pups so my fingers and
toes are crossed with her.
-
last pup one little dead boy. at least she has passed them all. First one a yucky mess then 2 fully
formed pups just too early.
i hope this isnt a sign to come. Still got my other girl due on the 12th. Have been warned to keep
her away from this one due to the risk of infection.
Now lots of ABs and I hope when her milk comes in all goes well.
-
could hope but just lost a tiny little girl as well
-
must be in the air, one of my girls aborted a dead pup and I am pretty sure the rest are going to follow.
Just got her on Abs and been warned to keep my other girl awy from her due to infection, it is going to be a long night

we put our girls on antibiotics if we use an outside mating, I worry about the previous matings
that the stud may have had.

Last December 2 Chihuahua litters. Both ended up being c-sections due to complications. Both litters brought
up in loungeroom ,one litter ended up in our bedroom due to the mum wanting to eat visitors. When older
both litters in pens in diningroom which is part of living area due to open plan living area.Lots of love and socialision
they all turned out to be happy, and friendly pups.

Ive got photos but photobucket hates me and wont let me in and wont send a comformation email. Is there a better one to use out there??
-
thanks, one of these girls was the same she had her litter next to me in the lounge
room and everytime I wanted to do anything she wanted to follow me, it lasted about
2 weeks and I hope it doesnt happen again because we ended up with an over stressed
bitch and lost a pup.She is very much a Mummies girl and no one else will do.
-
Never had it before with any of my Chihuahuas so it was completely a surprise.
Today she seems alot happier and willing to play with the others. I will be happy after
she has her scans next week.

Well over the last 2 days one of my girls has been sick, she has ended up with abcessed anal
glands both have popped and she is now on 2 antibiotics and not very happy. I have never
had this happen before and for it to be one of my pregnant girls I am very unhappy the
vet said the pups will be fine but it is still a worry. ;)
-
I have 2 chihuahua litters both due on the 12 July, it is the 2nd litter for both and they showed early
hopefully we have no problems this time as both ended up with c-sections last time. The little girl will need
one but a planned one will be alot better than a 2am one like last time.
-
I have had it happen before and there was no probs.
the lady who phoned was a showy looking for a pup
for a friend, the friend was 18 and from a non english
family. The buyers picked up the pup and they were
lovely. I still get emails from him telling me how the
pups is and how much they love him.

our last yard was chainlink on both sides the dogs barked at the neighbours and friends all day
if they weren't stopped. we grew vines and put that roll out fencing that you can get at kmart
at times. that work ok but was never the best. but at least we could remove it when it was old
chewed and then when we left. It is light and doesnt worry the chainlink so the owners can not complain.
-
My Chis steal them of the vines and play with them like balls, then they eat them
they have done so for the last 2 years and they seem fine for it.

wish you luck Partipaws for the Op. We had our little Pom break his leg a few years ago
and all went well, he never worried about the plaster and never limped after. It does
take quite a while for the hair to grow back though.
