catzatsea Posted January 8, 2010 Share Posted January 8, 2010 (edited) Just would love to hear your thoughts on Large Breed puppy food versus Adult Dry (mainly Eagle pack) If Large Breed Puppy Crude Protein Not less than 23.00% Crude Fat Not less than 12.00% and Adult dry is Crude Protein Not less than 22.00% Crude Fat Not less than 12.00% is it really important to stick with the Large Breed puppy? (I have put a full table for comparison below) Reason for asking is that I live out regional NSW where dog food is done via mail order and large breed puppy is currently unavailable with my supplier, I feed my other dogs the Adult Eagle pack (salmon and anchovy) and was thinking I could feed pup that until supplies came back in. If not I will source out another supplier.......... Snowball Posted January 9, 2010 Share Posted January 9, 2010 I have exactly the same question myself. Just out of intersest is the price for EP large adult much different to the large breed puppy? I just bought another puppy pack and was wondering wether I should as some breeders on here seem to swith to adult food at arond 4 months ( from memory of some earlier posts), but not sure how common this is?
