Ben and Jerry Posted April 26, 2012 Share Posted April 26, 2012 An 8-week-old puppy that got caught in a cactus has been rescued by a passerby who heard him crying. The dog’s rescuer reportedly removed close to a 2.2kg bucket of spines that were stuck in the puppy before he was taken to the AHS Second Chance Animal Hospital, in Phoenix, Arizona. After checking for any damage to his eyes, vets prescribed medication to stop his wounds from getting infected. Humane Society officials in the US said they will hold an adoption drawing for "Cactus Jack", abc15 reported Source Poor little pup, can't imagine how much pain 2.2kg worth of spines would cause. RiverStar-Aura Posted April 28, 2012 Share Posted April 28, 2012 (edited) Kirah lies to walk over our cactii so maybe the pup was exploring and got stuck then started to squirm to get out causing more prickles to get stuck in him.
