  1. Then again you could do like i did and go and buy a very expensive vacuum (sp) cleaner, would pick up a whole dog if not careful. I can't beleive how much easier it is to clean the carpets and it leaves nothing.
  2. As i sat with you on the floor of the vets surgery and watched him shave your leg, i thought of all the very best times we had toghether, i also knew we only had a few short moments left to say our goodbyes. I think back to our days of dog obedience and how i had so many trainers tell me that you had changed the way they viewed Rottweilers, you had such personality they couldn't but help love you, i think it was the fact you were always smiling, such a happy face. In the show ring you became known as the "pocket rocker" you would run around the ring as many times as was asked of you hot or cold you kept going, my proudest moment, well one of them, wasa 25 point challenge in Adelaide at the Rottie Specialty Show there were a lot of tears of joy wept on that day. It took you a long time to gain your title but you got there in your own sweet time, as you did with most things. I look at Cabulla Maddison and see your eyes in her and then there is Cabulla Basko Ruger and he has your sense of humour and clownish ways, always up for a game. You were so strong to the end, in October the vet gave us the news that you had lymphoma and your time with us was short i didn't think it would be so short though my beautiful girl and so at 2:30 this afternoon we said goodbye to Ch Allerhochst Kansas brave to the very last goodbye.
  3. cavNrott, i hope that Sophie is much better for you tomorrow. Give her lots of kisses and cuddles tonight, the hot weather must be very hard on her as well. Thinking of you at this very hard time you are going through.
  4. So very sorry at Zed's passing, pain free now, running around with all his mates now just like a puppy again. You will always have so many good memories of the wonderful time, even though it was far to short, that you have spent with him. Z-n-Q thinking of you at this very hard time.
  5. Thinking of all the not well Rotties, enjoy every moment that you have left with them. If they are a little naughty then it must be very hard to growl at them, makes one wonder if they know that maybe they just might get away with a little more than usual. Big hugs and best wishes to you all.
  6. cavNrott good luck with Sophie i hope you get some good news after you see the vet. To all the other not so well fur friends lots of
  7. Yes i totally agree with you cnr, it has to be about the quality as well. If that means taking her for a walk and watching the joy on her face then it is worth it. We control our furkids and so therefore we have to decide what is best for them, i guess we all have to put ourselves in there shoes and ask ourselves, would i still go for a romp and a play or have a game with our humans even if it means we might not be in the best of health. I can bet they would answer yes everytime. Thinking of all the not so well Rotties.

bluepoppy so sorry for your loss, you have given her release from the pain you were all suffering. So when tomorrow starts without me Don't think we're far apart For every time you think of me I'm right here in your heart"
  9. bluepoppy so sorry to hear that your girl is going through this rough time. There isn't anything we can say to help you but we are all thinking of you and Kiesha and the rest of the family. Just lots of hugs and love for the girl. Also big :D for you.
  10. Just like to come in here to see how all our sick Rotties are doing. I hope they are all doing as well as possible for them and that there humans are coping well with there sick friends.
  11. R&B sorry to hear of your loss. To all of our other sick black n tans big hugs to you and your humans. I was told by a very dear friend after i lost my darling father, every tear shed is a memory.
  12. Yep i'm with you, my pups always go home at 8 weeks smelling clean and fresh. We often will bath the pups on the day they are picked up by there new families. If the weather is ok for that, we put them in the hydro bath, as well as cleaning them it is also a new learning experience for them. All the pups take the hydro very well indeed.
  13. Sorry to hear of the loss of your beloved girl, we have to remember all the joy that our furkids bring us. The total hurt when we lose one of our mates is so intense, we just have to be greatful that we can do the right thing by them when the time comes and let them go to sleep with there human family around them and the sound of your voice as they peacfully go to sleep. Free from pain forever. ;)
