  1. I'm making app with the vet to have her skin tested and to try and come up with some sort of diet for her see if we can start to get some thing happing here or at least to get her some thing for the itch.
  2. My girl is a very fussy eater....she wont eat any raw meat, she doesn't have a lot of salt....she hardly ever touches her dry food...and its not the cheap stuff...shopping for her is a nightmare at times because she will only eat particular foods...the shop here has a very poor selection to i might add....she's even fussy with her treats lol...she mostly likes the natural dishes or the home cooked meals...but i will have a look at the ingredients and see if there is anything in there....i know its not mites or fleas she has been checked over and over for the little buggers... Thanks again guys for all the help you have given me so far...
  3. Hi, I have thought it might be a food allergies, i have tried cooking all her meals but with still no luck...the poor girl still itches...i had increased her omega 3 oils...still no luck....i took her to the vets the day after i got her...she had been that itchy before i got her that she had taken big clumps of fur from her chest and behind her ears... i dont know how people can let there pets do that to them sleves without seeking help...the vet never asked to do a skin test or anythng just gave me cream to put on it and that was it...no help whats so ever...we have planned to go on a holiday...a puppy friendly hoilday...cant go with out her!!! i will hopefully be able to take her to a better vet someone that will do some tests on her skin....i really have to stop her itching and soon.... ...i also have taken salt out of her diet to see if that helps...fingers crossed.

  6. Hi, Ever since i got my staffy from my local pound about 2 years ago...she has stuffered with really Dry and Itchy skin, i have tried all the dog shampoos...im not to sure about the ones that say to leave on for 10 minutes ( we dont even have to leave our anti-dandruff shampoo on that long!...seems a bit strange to me) i have tried fish oils and baby oils, not washing her..as it was i was only washing her once a month.....i could handle the flakey skin but the Itch must be driving her insane, i know I hate having a itch that i cant get rid of. I have also asked the vet and they didn't seem that worried about it. Has anyone got an ideas that might help.
