  1. Thank you guys so much...I still think Mac is going to pop his head around the corner at any moment, but it is slowly getting better! I think the fact that I can see his grave every day somehow makes it easier in a way, I guess because he's never far away! Love you Mac
  2. On Sunday at 11.45 I had to put my little boy to rest due to his bad healh Mac came to me 4 years ago through Petrescue, he had been rescued by the wonderful people at DABS. My little boy had been terribly abused by his previous owners and was in a terrible condition, with a very swollen spine due to continual beatings He was the most amazing little dog I have ever had the pleasure to meet...he was rather unusual in many different ways, but by god he used to shine at the dogpark where he would dominate even the big boys when it came to fetching a ball and many a large German Sheppard came away with an impressed look on their face when my little man made it quite clear that this ball was definitely his You will never be forgotten my proud little boy and I feel so priviliged to have known you! Run free my gorgeous boy RIP Mac 2005 to 2009
  3. Thanks for your answers guys .......and he's NOT slow ...well...maybe a little Poor Chloe...she must look like a Polar Bear Cattle Dog....uuhhhhh...maybe that could be a new breed...a pure breed PBCD From what you guys say it does sound like an age related thing, will pass it on and see how my friend goes!
  4. My girlfriend has a little Tibetan Spaniel who has for the first time NOT lost his winter fur  Normally her house turns into a carpet of white fur fluff, but he didn't do it this time...as in last winter, so now the little bugger is left with this ginormously thick fur and she can't even get a brush through it! The dog is about 12 years old and otherwise in good condition....what could be the cause of a dog not changing fur with the seasons?
  5. I am sure that our Roo's are happy together over the bridge They passed on when it was their time, but I like you only wish that I had known that when I left for work that day, that I would not see his lovely face on my return I, like so many here, understand and feel your pain! Never doupt that! My thoughts are with you and I too remember you often They live on in our memory
  6. I am soooo very sorry to hear what has happened I understand how horrible you must feel, we often blame ourselves, but no one is to blame and you did what you could RIP little one My thoughts are with you
  7. So sorry for your loss   rest in peace little one
  8. My best friends Dachshund swims like a cork :D he starts of normally and slowly starts turning....he ends up on his side and then his head ends up underwater with the legs sticking up into the air ;) .....I guess that's what happens when you're a sausage and you try to swim :D
  9. Hi Kozpink, Dandydog and I met you at Cordelia's BBQ (I lost my Ruben, known as Roo a bit over a year ago)! We spoke for a while and sort of bonded over our Roos so to say ;) I feel your pain and I too know how hard it is to loose a loved one!!! I hope the wonderful memory of your sweetheart helps you through the day ! I have thought of you quite a few times since we met, you are a wonderful caring and loving person and you are in my thoughts :D Love Sabine

My 2 boys love it and my dogs coat looks great (doesn't have as much coat as yours though, only a little pup though :D ) I guess you should try both for a few mths and see how you go Good luck :p
