wizard if posts are true, im so glad you have your boy back...... secondly i would like to add.......anyone who finds a stray regardless of if you are rescue needs to do things by the law.... im a pound worker and have just come across a rescue group who is breaking the law....taking matters into your own hands is not how you go about it and having your so called foster carers abuse staff showing that we are on the other side of the line burnt my oil completely .....you do not have the power too enforce the law whether you think right or wrong..... im glad the post is here and will refer the act posted...im against animal abuse and back yard breeding but you have no right to take matters into your own hands...and too anyone who finds a stray animal do the right thing by the animal and its searching owner...impound the animal as hard as it is and then help the animal if it becomes urgent within the pound system.....

poor poor kitty i read this article while at work ( i work at a pound) i had torn this article out and have englarged photocopy it for every owner that reclaims their cat form the pound, so they get the idea how important it is to keep their cat inside or in a cat enclosure and not to roam! there are some sickos in this world and i hope this sicko is caught!

i think if they changed the tender system to a set fee including desexing they would be quite surprised..... where i work we have complusary desexing and a set fee....the set fee has been in place for many years, but the compulasry desexing has been in place for only a few and i feel the change to compulsary has been for the better.....the adoptions of our dogs have increased and have been consistant since.....when people are told that they are paying for the vet work and not the dog and are told what is included in the sale of the dog 99.8% are pleasantly surprised.... its all about changing the way you do things and some people dont like change .... and as some have put it losing money
