  1. ooh you could get a "chilly bone" http://www.thevetshed.com/catalog/product_...9d7d7186dfc429c :D
  2. i think you should file even more often than you are currently doing, because, the closer that you get to the quick, the shorter the quick will be in the future. and then when the quick starts to get shorter, cut them regularly, and you'll see the quick getting shorter and shorter. and as for him not liking you touch his nails, praise and award him after each nail at first, then once each paw, until you can get to once per session. I had this problem with Paris at first too, but it just takes time. good luck!
  3. Dont agree -sorry. :p I cant feed Paris the same thing twice, she would rather go without than eat the same thing twice. So therefor I mix up her meals with yoghurt or an egg or creamy sauce etc. She doesnt touch dog food. If no one believes me about feeding her the same thing twice I am happy to prove it. (Even if its with steak!) If anyone can tell me why im more than happy to hear it- just dont say because shes spoilt- because I know. :p oh my god i have finally found someone in the same position as me!! it's a bit crazy too, because our dogs have the same name.. but my Paris (boy Paris), is so picky about his food. Sometimes he doesn't touch his kibble for a day! (or two!) When I add yummy stuff to his kibble, he'll eat the yummy stuff and spit out the kibble. and yes, Paris is very spoilt too. (today he turned down a bottle of yakult! )
  4. yep, I second PetDeli. The delivery is fast and freeeeeeee!
  5. I have a Japanese Spitz with a long white coat. For some reason he just doesn't get dirty? Well, he does, but then the dirt just all comes of when I brush him. I think it has something to do with the nature of this breed's coat. I'm pretty anti using whitening products, as they often contain NaOH and other forms of bleach, which I feel is bad for their skin.
  6. for ice blocks, i take an ice cube maker and put a piece of small treat in every one of the little cubes, and then add water which has a bit of stock in it after it's frozen, you"ve got little ice cubes with little bits of treat in them. very cute!! they remind me of those asian jellies with have bits of fruit in them. oh, and how about frozen yoghurt? i do get carried away sometimes..
  7. maybe even an egg or two? or am I asking for too much..
  8. The Holistic range by Eagle Pack contains no corn, i think.
  9. I use a spray on mine when i brush him. It makes the coat easier to brush, deodorises and, in my opinion, conditions the coat. It's by 'dog & Co', called 'FiFi Fresh Spray', and you can get a 250mL bottle for around $15 I think, and it'll last you ages. Just reading the ingredients, it's got heaps of essential oils like lavender, peppermint and lemongrass. Hope that helped.
