  1. Another Eastwood House visitor!!! Graeme Turner is a great vet, and the staff there are very nice.
  2. We go to Rainbow quite often, and we always stay at Deb's Place. The pet friendly unit has a fenced yard, and the outdoor dining area is enclosed as well. Highly recommended!
  3. I hope everyone's babies are doing well. My girls babies are coming along in leaps and bounds, my big boy now weights 334g at day 3 Mum is doing so well with babies and never wants hem out of her sight. I'm so proud of her!
  4. Soooo tired, and then got up this morning to take them all to the vet. A sleep is in order for tis arvo!
  5. We have had our very first litter this evening, of 2 boys and 2 girls, one boy came out quite distressed, but had perked up by the last whelp. Mum and pups are doing well.
  6. Sorry to hear about your news Maggie mae, I hope mum is better soon, and hope the pups are ok.
  7. At the school, in St pauls Tce, $20 a day.
  8. Aust Silky Terriers due on the 21st - our first litter, pups have been confirmed by ultra sound, all very exciting!
  9. Will be there Sat/Sun, with two Silkies! Looking forward to my first show of the year!
  10. What else are doing other than treating her? Are you treating the surrounding areas? Also too, Sentinel Spectrum does not kill fleas, it makes them infertile.
  11. Good bye sweet girl, and may you join all those beautiful Silkys that have left us. Run free, and safe. :p
  12. Dimmatrol is a Fido's product, so it should be available at any Petstock, if not, they can order it in.
  13. A vet told me that if your dog does not have fleas, the chance of getting tapeworm is very, very slim. So I personally wouldn't worry.
  14. I am currently feeding Euk to my three small dogs at home, and they are going great. My 13 year old Silky that had itchy skin, hardly ever scratches since being on Euk, and my 12 week old Silky has a gorgeous shiny coat. Euk's stock supply is always good, but can't say the same about Royal Canin or Eagle Pack (great products though). But choose what you think your dog would do good on, and not what other people insist you should do, cause everyone's opinion is different.
  15. Also try a bit of liver, heart or kidneys to the mix to add variety. We have been cooking our dogs food for years, as we have had up to four dogs in the household at any one time. We make up a huge pot of food and put it in those plastic take away containers and freeze them, and put in a daily portion in each container for convenience. By the way our dogs do very well on our mix. They are not overweight, they have great coats, and have good energy levels, considering the oldest is 13 years old.
  16. I work for Petstock in Toowoomba, and we have a qualified trainer for our puppy pre-school. She also does Puppy pre-school and obedience at other Vet clinics as well. But just suss it out first before you decide on a place for training.
  17. I am so sorry to hear that poor Cara has left us. May she run free. And Suki will keep her company.
  18. What part of Qld are you moving to? as some areas don't have a heart worm problem, or Paralysis tick problem for that fact.
  19. I am really sorry for your loss. He is not alone, as Suki will keep him company.
  20. For a 250ml of malasab at my work is $21.95. But it is really good stuff, worth the money.
  21. Today, my beautiful baby girl was killed. I never got to say goodbye. But now she is heaven with Prince. I'll love you forever and never forget you!
  22. Fidos Oatmeal & Baking Soda for my two Silkies, and Fidos Bright and White for the Maltese. And you only need to use a little bit, and it is also soap free.
  23. I think I might come down for the day to check out the action. We don't have fly ball in Toowoomba, so it will be great to actually see rather than on TV.
