  1. Can anyone tell me what time the Bacchus Marsh show starts please.
  2. Jedda not looking the best Our last litter feeding
  3. I have to disagree about the obedience. I trained several pekes up to trialing standard when I was breeding them in the 80's-90's. They were very easy to train & eager to work. Sadly, divorce stopped me from trialing them but I think that they would have got their titles easily. Several have got their obedience titles in Australia & I know of one in America that went through to UD. The biggest problem I had was the inability of the older peke breeders in Victoria being unable to accept that they could be trained for anything but showing. http://www.dogzonline.com.au/breeds/profile.asp?dog=43981 http://www.thepekingeseclubofamerica.com/p...t%20a%20toy.htm
  4. Nothing exciting, but these are a few from our last 4wd run through the bush. All were cropped to highlight the cars. Mishka close up & personal Jedda
  5. This photo is a good example of a coat drop that happens twice a year (normally in the middle of the show season). This is the first session, the rest was brushed out the next day.
  6. Not much chance of taking photos when I'm at work so this is all I have Not sure if old photos are eligible but this is one from a while ago
  7. The trouble with some 4WD people is that theirs is better than the others. At least I know the limitations of my Land Cruiser. The OH with her Jackaroo was even reluctant to follow me through the easier tracks.
  8. She's only cute if you don't have to wash her & seeing that it is still raining that won't be in the near future.
  9. One from our trip through the mud. I wasn't dumb enough to go in, I just took the photos of others. Five cars tried it, five cars got towed out.

  11. Zeena after a play in the new mud hole that she created. Normally she is black & white but now is black & red.
  12. At least you have shows to enter. Here in FNQ we have no shows between the end of October to the end of March. That's 5 months without shows. We have a young boy who did 4 shows as a baby & when he gets back in the ring he will be at the end of minor, so I wouldn't mind filling in entries.
  13. When we get our GSD's done we use the Clifford Park vets in Toowoomba even though we live in Cairns. They have a frame that the dog lies in to get the correct position & they will take xrays till they get the best one.
  14. My advice after keeping 2 girls from our last litter "DON'T DO IT"
  15. We used mesh to make a pen for our last litter but 1 pup worked out how to climb out then she showed another girl how to do it. It didn't matter how high the sides were she would climb out as soon as she was put back in. Will have to work out something differant for the next litter. We were going to keep a pup from that litter but couldn't decide between the 3 girls so we ended up keeping both of the adventurous girls. Now one of them worked out how to climb over a 5' chainwire fence at 4 months. The trouble makers "Bad & Badder"
  16. I live in Cairns and until recently I would take my GSD's to Brisbane to see Rowan Kilmartin whenever they had problems as he is the best. Now we have a chiro in Cairns (Liza Sergeev) who trained under Rowan & is brilliant. I still see Rowan whenever I am in Brisbane with my dogs for shows, but the rest of the time I see Liza.
  17. Doing a great job Sway. here are some old Pekingese Prefixes Ranteza Charmdale Mahjong
  18. Royal Canin 4800 for the GSD adults & Royal Canin Puppy Large breed for the 10 month Malamute. They all have thick shiny coats & are looking good.
