Thanks for all the replies. This is a 6 year old bassett who was taken on by a family member 2 weeks ago. The dog had been in a kennel at breeders but is now in the ho me and looking better already.

Hi Does anyone have any suggestions on how to treat/prevent skin irritation in skin folds on wrinkly dogs- basset hounds. Have tried oral antibiotics from the vet but have had no effect. Thanks
