  1. Call Sharen Bell - Kislev Beagles 07 54425041. She has sent semen to Germany. Sure she will be happy to help.
  2. I think the ANKC have not long posted the legal ages for breeding most breeds. Check out their website.

  4. Here is the best site for buying the leather - www.birdsall-leather.com.au. Great range of colours and the cheapest i have been able to find.
  5. Excellent policy - and that is what a good breeder is all about. it is a shame that not all breeders adhere to such policies.
  6. I have imported 4 dogs over the past four years from Hungary. A puppy must have the Rabies vaccine at 12 weeks and then must wait 5 months before blood can be drawn for the RNATT. There are several other blood tests to be done as well, depending on the country of origin, bit these are done just prior to the dog coming out. The dog must then do 30 days quarantine here in Australia. Please call if I can be of further help - 07 54865825.
  7. Hi, Interstate Jetpets or Dogtainers. they are much the same however to NZ Jetpets are quite a bit less.
  8. Hi, Unless the bitch is coming from the UK she must go through the normal rabies vaccination which takes about five months from when she is vaccinated until when the blood is taken for the RNAT. She then has to come into whelp and be mated and (accordinging to AQIS) must leave for Australia no later than 20 days after the mating. So I don't know where the twelve months is coming from, however it would depend on when she come into season after she is cleared for Rabies (and all the other blood work that must be done depending on where she is coming from). She then must spend 30 days in quarantine here. Hope this helps..
  9. Hi Sandgrubber, I was speaking of frozen semen when, after prog tests, the semen is implanted as near as possible to the time the eggs are ready to be impregnated, as frozen semen does not have the life period of normal semen. In this case I believe the gestation period to be 59 days. Cheers!
  10. Hi, I breed Hungarian Vizslas and Hungarian Wirehaired Vizslas and I have had 4 AI's now. Two successful and two not .The gestation period for my AI's has always been 59 days. Good luck!
  11. There is nothing more delightful than seeing an occasional photo of a puppy that you have bred and hearing about the puppies progress. It does not have to be often - even every few months is enough. So much love, work, time and energy goes into breeding and I delight in every email and photo I receive about my puppies from their owners. I also take the time to respond, no matter how busy I am. Fortunately I have sold my puppies to people who also enjoy sharing their news of their puppies and I feel very grateful that I have not had the misfortune to have sold to someone with your attitude. It is a shame you cannot find five minutes every now again to write a quick email or send a photo. I sincerely hope you can find enough time in your busy life to spend with your puppy. :D
