Three times, once to get BOB, one for group and one for Jnr in group. it was good fun, more fun once the showing bit was over and I could relax with Lola's breeder and have some laughs... it was good though, really enjoyed myself.

Yay.. first show went well, we were the only Lowchen there which was both good and bad, but we have our first 6 points.. yay!

Thanks Ashley I'm going in there with the expectation that we'll get nothing, she really doesn't have enough coat, so we're going to play and practice I'd still rather not f- it all up though... LOL. Car is mostly packed, just have a couple more things to take and a Lola

The Afghans I just gave up on because they hated grooming so much and there was no real reason to torture them.

Super Cheap Auto have good quality hand trolleys for $20 Spose it's a wee bit late to inform you of this now though You suck... lol...it was bunnings and we'll b able to use it for other stuff

I think the trolley is going to be the ultimate Oh well, just have to wait... and sell the dumb crate/trolley thing that I bought that doesn't collapse *grrr* I'm starting to get stressed about tomorrow.. I'm about to wash Lola and then pack up the car.. but I'm freaking out a bit.

Just went and spent $80 on a hand trolley to cart everything around... and the grooming table is too big to fit in the gazebo.. keeping in mind that I'm bunking with my uber wonderful breeder who already has it full with her fur-kids... d'oh!!

LOL.. yup... because I need it for the afghans too, and can't afford to have two taken me long enough to get one... LOL Eventually I'll get a proper show trolley and the big ol table can be for home use.

Woohoo... I have a grooming table! Far out it's big... lol... I'm really going to need a trolley, I won't be able to carry it far! I'm going to be racing against time to get a trolley today though.

I should have read on before answering Oh well info is ther for any other newbie short on money and needing a grooming table I should add they last well as well. Mine has been going for about 3 years but a friend and I made hers the same way about 6 or 7 years ago. You're too clever I don't think I'd have the motivation or abilities to be honest... heheh but it's an excellent idea.

Well I've ordered and paid for my grooming table... now all I have to do is avoid looking at my bank account and try not to spend more money *sigh* Hmm I need to stop reading all the posts about dog trailers... it's sounding tempting... LOL! Are the dogs happy/comfortable in the trailers?

Well that's the other thing... after Christmas there just isn't much money left... how frustrating! I still have to pay for the show because I stuffed up with my cheque.. and have to buy an arm band too... eep!

Yeah I was pretty pissed... what a waste of money. I've already got some non-slip stuff, now just need the table. I will be keeping an eye on things.

Improvise or find a friend real quick! Keep you eye on the DOL Classifies as there are often older grooming tables listed there for cheap prices. Might be something to start with before you can get a show trolley for shows and a nice new grooming table for home. We all had to start somewhere!!! I was going to try to find a card table or something. Don't really know anyone whose table I can use. Steph, I was thinking of buying one of these: ebay grooming table I'm just being a tight arse and stressing over money.... also I doubt it will get to me in time for saturday now. I did buy a 'show trolley' but have realised I made a mistake and the claim that it is perfect for dog showing was probably a stretch: Stupid show trolley I was going to add a top to it as a grooming table, but it doesn't fold up... grrr!

I'm jealous of everyone who got show stuff. I still dont have a grooming table and our first show is Saturday... I have no idea what to do
