just wondering I use advocate and my vet told me that it doesnt cover tapeworm (which I knew) but said that it wont be a problem as they are from fleas & the advocate stops the fleas.....hence you dont need an additional wormer...unless you get fleas. Did any of that make sense?

What are these fish scalers ones that you are mentioning...... What do they look like?

Not sure if this is what you mean or are after......but my breeder recommend giving Heinz High Protein Baby Ceral or Farex Ceral with puppy milk as a meal ie supper.....

oh god that is terrible that is making me get worried now as my little girl is going on Friday to have a C5 shot done - she is 12 weeks old...... Maybe I should change which one I get???

i too wash my little Cairn in wool wash - was recommened by the breeder and it seems to be great. She doesnt get stratchy and smells lovely!!! :wink:

this thread is great!! Have got some great tips from it. I had been getting mixed advice on what puppy can cant/do until she has had all her needles, but you guys have your dogs out and about and meeting other dogs...so I am going to take your advice!!!

No I am not feeding my little one canned food.... (shall be the BARF diet) but have just had a discussion with someone at work in relation to feeding dogs canned food......he says that you should. And he told me not to get sucked into all these special diets and foods available. just wondering - where can i find information on why certain brands of canned food are bad.......just so he knows the facts..... edited to add that this guy doesnt have a dog........ thanks

Just wondering as I am going to get a mini schnauzer in a few months and want to be prepared on the grooming side of things......
