  1. Don't know about the gel name, but we use Squirt. (it's got beautiful flavours like Pinal Colada etc.)(oops make that scents.)
  2. I think I've seen this picture before, but I'd like to say again - "what a beautiful puppy"!
  3. Hi , I asked a similar question the other day. Unless the chicken necks were off, I reckon she might have some other kind of stomach upset. When we got our puppy, she was already being fed chicken necks, so don't think that was a problem, however with the fresh food we gave her, raw chichen and veges, i think we were just feeding her too much. Took her to the vets who saind what we were feeding her was fine, but should only give her very small amounts until her stomach got used to it. She gave us something called Scourban and said just give her plain cooked chicken until her stomach improves.
  4. Hi, Read an interesting article in one of the weekend paper's magazines about what people do when they have dogs and they then divorce or separate. Has this happened to anyone and how did you decide who got the dog? Hope this isn't being too nosy - was just wondering how people decide what to do. OOPS SORRY THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN GENERAL. WILL JUST MOVE IT NOW.
  5. Hi Kitkat, So with any of these things - you don't have to be careful that your dog doesn't choke on anything?
  6. Yes - I also saw some kind of dog toilet at the pet store the other day - with fake turf etc. Wouldn't have a clue if they work though - has anyone tried to use them with any success?
  7. Hello Ian I am from the Australasian distributor of Nutro Choice, and I am wanting to let you know that we take any issue like this seriously. We have not, to the best of my knowledge, received any communication from you regarding the unfortunate problem you had with the litter. I note that you mention you have fed a "Performance" product from another company, and it would be valuable to know which formula you were feeding from Nutro's range? For example, our CHOICE ADULT PERFORMANCE is not recommended in any of our literature as a puppy food. Nutro offers 4 separate specific dry puppy formulas (soon to be a fifth) in the international markets although not all may be available in Australia right now. If you would like to contact me (James Brow) at [email protected] I would be pleased to co-ordinate with you and perhaps your veterinarian to try to establish what went wrong with your pups. We have an established and effective quality system, and stand behind our products. Good response - also just wanted to know if you are planning on increasing the number of distributors in Australia as there seems to be quite a demand for Nutro.
  8. Thanks guys - I somehow posted this thread twice - the other one is what kind of bones do you feed your dog?
  9. Yes - there seems to be lots of different opinions about the best things to feed your dog. I wish I took as much care with my own diet!
  10. Sounds great - aah so that's why some vets don't seem to use it. does' anyone know what the actual vaccination is called.? I am going to ask about it next time I go to the vets.
  11. Thaks Greytmate - do any of you feed your dogs just kibble and bones?
  12. Thanks for the replies. I think the ones I have seen online are actually the rolls but I would prefer to buy the patties I think.Does anyone know of a good online shop that sells them? Also read somewhere that if you are feeding patties, you should not be feeding kibble. I currently use nutro, chicken necks and use chicken, beef offal etc mixed in with vegetables, polenta and rice. I was hoping that the Barf patties could just replace the chicken mix etc. Also how much do you feed your dogs - 1 pattie a day?
  13. If this is not new, is it used very commonly. Why or why not?
  14. Haven't heard of this but it sounds good.
