  2. LOL I have to laugh at the light fittings... My lab chewed up 24 solar lights, now they are all gone he has started on the sprinkler system...He has heaps of toys & 2 other dogs to play with.....I have just accepted it but I am not replacing any solar lights
  3. I have 3 labs and none of them touch the washing. I ahve always taken them with me when I peg it out and said a few No!!!!s Touch wood I won't have jinxed myself
  4. How do you get a wee sample from a dog?????????????????????
  5. I posted a similar topic recently. My 11 wk old lab pees any where any time and frequently. One of the responses to my post was that it could be because she is fed mostly on dry food so she drinks a lot too. That all makes perfect sence. What are you feeding your pup?
  6. Great pics....Fun aren't they. My 11 wk old lab is very food motivated which is great to train with but I am still having trouble getting her to wait for me to put her food out and she nips with great eagerness for treats. I am being firm and am confident I will win.
  7. woops forgot to add I pulled the crate out today so will start using it she only has a few weeks untill her first show.
  8. Yes I am pretty sure it is the dry food. I am not crate training her she sleeps outside with my older dog. She doesn't pee in her bed and if she accidently gets left in her pen she gets quite distressed if the needs to poo but the peeing she isn't so stressed where she does it. Thankfully her bed appears safe.
  9. Yes she has mostly dry food she is having royal canon and some chicken and bones, She can't last an hour...lol She seems healthy enough.
  10. I have a 12 wk old lab pup, I have never known a pup to drink and pee so much. I take her to the loo outside, bring her in and within a couple of seconds she pees again.....and so it goes on. She will pee any where any time but the is very particular where she poops, likes the garden and will bark to get out there. Any one got any tips? How regularly should they pee??
  11. I have 3 labs 2 under 12 mths and I feed them royal canon, fresh bones chicken necks & wings I am happy with it.
  12. I have heard vinigar and water will get rid of the smell and they don't go back to that spot. Not sure how true it is
  13. hope this comes through this is 10 mth old eli at the beach
  14. I have a 5yo lab who sure gives me the finger when we are at the beach. At home she is fantastic not a problem but out Oh boy is she a bugger. I just walk the oposite way and eventually she comes which is fine if I want to walk but to just sit at the beach with her is a joke
  15. I have just been away for 2 weeks and have returned to find my 5yo lab covered in heat spots. I wondered if she had been fretting and that had triggered it but the weather has been very wet here too so maybe she was wet for too long. I just bathed her in an anticeptic wash and have put listerine on it ( never tried it before) She isn't itching at all from what I can see. She never got them until last year.
