  1. LOL I have to laugh at the light fittings... My lab chewed up 24 solar lights, now they are all gone he has started on the sprinkler system...He has heaps of toys & 2 other dogs to play with.....I have just accepted it but I am not replacing any solar lights

  2. I posted a similar topic recently. My 11 wk old lab pees any where any time and frequently. One of the responses to my post was that it could be because she is fed mostly on dry food so she drinks a lot too. That all makes perfect sence. What are you feeding your pup?

  3. Yes I am pretty sure it is the dry food. I am not crate training her she sleeps outside with my older dog. She doesn't pee in her bed and if she accidently gets left in her pen she gets quite distressed if the needs to poo but the peeing she isn't so stressed where she does it. Thankfully her bed appears safe.

  4. I have a 12 wk old lab pup, I have never known a pup to drink and pee so much. I take her to the loo outside, bring her in and within a couple of seconds she pees again.....and so it goes on. She will pee any where any time but the is very particular where she poops, likes the garden and will bark to get out there.

Any one got any tips? How regularly should they pee?? :(

  5. I have just been away for 2 weeks and have returned to find my 5yo lab covered in heat spots. I wondered if she had been fretting and that had triggered it but the weather has been very wet here too so maybe she was wet for too long. I just bathed her in an anticeptic wash and have put listerine on it ( never tried it before) She isn't itching at all from what I can see. She never got them until last year.

  6. I do mine in the bath with a shower hose head to rinse. you can get them for a few dollars and slip them onto the tap. My 2 will jump into the bath and sit/lay they have learnt not to shake ( works most of the time) I towel dry them then they jump out and get another rub dry. if it is too cold to go out side I have used the hair dryer on occasions but they are not too keen on that. I have labs and they love the water so that helps too.
