  1. I vote the golden retriever, but hey, I'm biased. Diesel 8 weeks Axle 7 weeks Edited 'cause I love this one of Ax too!
  2. Hi Elfin, Nothing could be found with a physical examinaton so he went through a battery of tests yesterday which came back all clear - we are waiting on urine. Today he is of absolute perfect health and was acting normally all day yesterday whilst being tested. He even ate a full can of dog food! They think that whatever it was, he is getting over - we just needed to spend $1665.00 yesterday for him to feel better........grrrrr But oh well, at the moment he is well and hopefully it stays that way. If he crashes again they will do bloods and try to grow cultures from them. Until then we wait...... Lets hope we dont have to go back! They were wonderful wonderful people down there, couldnt have been happier leaving him with them for the day!
  3. Yes, that's where I got Axles cardiac certificate too, I havent met Matt though. Cant wait 'til Monday, it is going to be a very long weekend with a sick boy!
  4. Matt Reeves the at the Southern Animal Referral Centre in Moorabbin - small animal medicine specialist. I just tried to call them for cost (why did I not do this first...idiot me!) and $165.00 for first visit and then further costs would be discussed then.
  5. Thank you, I'll have $200 in my wallet. I wish they could talk so he could just tell me what is so wrong! :D Thank you for your wishes
  6. I have a sick boy who the vets cannot diagnose. We have been referred to a specialist on Monday. Now I know this is going to cost me and thank goodness we have insurance but does anyone know the cost approx for a first consult? Just want to make sure I have enough cash on me and as I didnt make the appt (my vet did) I didnt get the opportunity to ask. I'm sure the cost will come with all the tests they run, whatever they happen to be. My poor boy, I just want him better :D
  7. A very unfortunate incident, as all dog v's human incidents are. I hope the humans recover from their wounds and I hope that whatever is professionally found to be best for the dog is done.
  8. kja, thank you, from the bottom of my heart thank you!! My daughter who is on exchange (coming home next Sat after 12months is Germany) had copied 1500 photos and 21 camera videos to a USB stick, the stick corrupted and I had it sent home and our IT guy had done everything to try to retrieve all her Jan 2010 - June 2010 photos including everything form a 16 week tour of Europe...you know, Austria,Italy, Paris, Amsterdam, you name it she went there...... I sent the IT guy your link and he ran it and nothing came up, he contacted the program IT engineers who gave him a few suggestions and all photos & videos have been recoverable. Thank you so much, without your post my 18yo would have been without 6 months of photos to remind her of Europe and have memories to share with us when she gets home. I am truely thankful XX ETA...our IT guy had given up totally, we had been told they were lost so you can imagine how the skype call went to Germany earlier tonight. Megs says "kja rocks!!" in between squeals.....

  10. LOL we're only on day 4 of 7 of THIS week - slow down, enjoy the roses I think I have mine for the week, but with three days left, who knows what I'll come across! But I'm really enjoying this!! I am forever thinking of what would be a great shot for next week....unfortunately so far the camera and I aren't working as a team!
  11. Both stunning photos!! Wish I could get my 50mm to take shots like that.....Thinking I need a program to tweek my shots too.....and tonnes (did I mention tonnes) more practice!!
  12. Beautiful shot TerraNik !! Great shots everyone, roll on next week!!
  13. Thank you KK09, I'll give that a go, greatly appreciate it :p Free is always good, nearly died at the price of photoshop when I googled it!!!
  14. Wow, what fantastic shots already, makes me a little intimidated to post my "snaps" from my new camera in here!! Oh well, I've got to start somewhere, doing a course late Jan so hopefully I'll improve with time. I am loving fiddling atm with absolutely no idea of what I am doing... I have no photoshop, so photos are as taken or cropped until I work out what the best program is, suggestions welcomed. Week 1/52 - Introducing all dogs for week 1 So this is one of the boys, Rusty: And Axle (cream) & Diesel (Gold):
  15. Thank you, the forum looks good too.....to lurk and learn....
