  3. Hi,

I was just wondering how much you pay for getting your dogs teeth cleaned? Is this something I should be doing? If so, how often? Mine dont have problems with their teeth at all but thought it might be a good idea to get them checked out and cleaned...

I spoke to my vet and she said they would need to be put under and it would cost about $250... I didnt realise it would be so expensive... but I could be wrong...

    Any help would be appreciated...

    Thanks :o

  5. Big Bump for this thread but how did the bath go with the ACV?

OK, so no-one is going to reply with the ratio of ACV to water for the conditioner rinse.

Going back to post no. 6, from Kez, the human version is 1 cup ACV to 2 cups water - SO, I'm basing this purely on my own hypothesis being that dogs (mine only) have allergy so their skin is a bit sensitive, I'm going to halve the ACv, try it out today and see how that goes!

  6. Hi everyone,

Just wanting to know what vaccinations a puppy should get and at what age?

I got my furkids at 7 & 9 years of age so don't have any idea about puppy's... :o

  7. hi everyone, im having trouble feeding my furkids... i think im being too lenient though :( but anyways... i was just wondering if anyone has fed their dogs scottys premium meat rolls... and if you know where to get them and how much they are? :(

  8. thanks bella, ill try to keep you posted if im on tomorrow...

and cav, thats OK, maybe i didnt explain myself properly either  i think i got carried away writing about her zoomies, she is fine in one spot, she is either on the tiles or the lounge, now that you mention it though, since she has been sick (as in the vomiting) she has been more inclined to be on the lounge where as she usually likes the cool tiles... i know its different for every dog though....

  9. thanks bella, ill have a good feel of her tummy area tonight when i get home, thats a good idea actually to take her out on a lead... thanks for the suggestions, im just worried/ frustrated :rofl:

    Doggywoof

You can get a fair idea if something is wrong by feeling the abdominal area. If it's hard and bloated, there may be an obstruction. My Bella had Gastro as well and that made her abdo feel hard as well.

She might be hiding her poo  . Can you take her out on the lead and watch what she does?

If you're worried about her being sick you should also restrict her movement. I had to keep bella in the laundry/crate for a week when she had gastro.

    Good luck

  10. no runny poo's, just vomit... but she was pooing when she was vomiting, it only stopped after the injections and tablets

i am praying for a poop, let me tell you!

Was the dog was vomitting and having runny poops or just vomitting?

If she was just vomitting and hasn't pooped then I would be concerned about a blockage.

I find that when I change food suddenly I just get runny poops but not vomitting...

Edited to add: If she seems happy in her self then I wouldn't stress too much at this point. If she was vomitting up her food then her stomach might just be empty - hopefully tomorrow will bring a nice big poop
