I just remembered Bathurst "Royal" and 2 or 3 All Breeds shows held in Bathurst were on that weekend also. I don't think the Hound Group there was particularly big either. Just checked - Hound Group entry at Bathurst A H & I was 42

Total entry was 59, our boy "Wilbur" was BIS The judge was Moya Joslin (Borzois) from NZ

7 Saluki babies all arrived safely. Mother and bubs doing well. 4 male 3 female Nice mix of colours - cream, gold and varying shades of grizzle

Hi Cougar My mother used to breed Std Wires in NZ and I have had considerable experience with these charmers. They are real characters. There are a couple of breeders in NSW and you should see some at Melbourne Royal as there is a breeder there also. Check out breed pages on DOL for contacts

Back to SnoPaws original post - Many years ago in NZ, a well known Samoyed breeder / judge (who now resides in Sth Aust), dogs always did the happy Sammy bark whilst in the ring, even whilst being gaited. My OH parents had Samoyed also. I guess some breeds are just naturally more vocal than others.
