  1. We've had these on the dog collars for about 5 years. "The Slide on" ones. http://www.boomerangtags.com/store/index.php?A=G&ID=4
  2. Only 2 stores in Melb have animals up for adoption and not always. They work in conjunction with Lort Smith. Application process. No animal goes home the same day. Dog enclosures are open. Vet on hand as there is a clinic in store. Not sure how NSW works. It was orginally Pets at Home now Petbarn. Been doing it for a few years now. Good to see they no longer sell smallies and birds.
  3. The ones the OP is talking about were made by Troy/DOL and you should not make them on your own. Ask Troy if he is still selling them. Oh yep for sure. Didn't realize Troy/DOL had stickers.
  4. Try Cafe Press design your own. I've ordered their T Shirts and stickers from them before and have found the service really good. http://www.cafepress.com.au/make/custom-stickers

  11. The Thomastown one sell smallies, birds and reptiles. The staff have no clues. They keep their rabbits and guinea pigs on pine shavings and have very little to no hay to eat They occaisionally have cats from LDH for adoption.
  12. Thank you for you reply. Yes we have been doing the above treatment. Some days we think the treatment is working but then I don't think it is really. Due to ring vet for update tomorrow. Pretty sure we will have to make the decision within the next week or so.
  13. Maggie has neurogenic dry eye and so far has not responded to treatment. We have 4 more days to go before we give the vet a call for an update. During the consult surgery was discussed and a proceedure called Parotid duct transpostion was to be considered when all medical therapies have failed. I also asked about eye removal. Has anyone had the PTD surgery done on their dog?
  14. Has anyone had parotid duct transposition done on their dog or know of anyone else? Interested in any feed back, thanks
  15. We saw Racheal Grundon yest. Maggie has neurogenic dry eye. We are to up the pilocarpine drops in her food every 3 days, cyclosporin 3 x per day and viscotears, lacrilube for when we are at work as it lasts longer. If she doesn't respond then we will have to look at the parotid duct transposition. Has anyone had this proceedure done on their dogs?
  16. Thanks for the replies, we are off to the Animal Eye Care clinic tomorrow.
  17. As soon as we noticed her squinting in one eye it was straight to vet. Maggie is a 6 year old Jack Russell. Was diagnosed with "Neurogenic" dry eye with schirmer tear test treated with cyclosporin and viscotears. After nearly 2 weeks of not realy being able to get the drops in her eyes the vet has recommened (after speaking with eye specialist) that we are now trying pilocarpine by mouth and replacing vicotears with lacrilube.
  18. Anyone had any experiences with dry eye? What treatments did you use ,did your dog recover or do they have on going treatment? Thanks.
