  1. Hey guys. Just a quick one. Im looking for a trainer / Dog Obedience specialists to help with some issues I'm having with my dog. Just thought Id see if anyone could recommend somewhere? Ive done a bit of searching on the net, But if anyone has had any good / bad experiences that they are open to sharing it would be much appreciated. I live on the Southside of Brisbane and would prefer some "in-home" training. Thanks a heap in advance for any info. Jess
  2. Just a quick question while we're on the topic of yoghurt. How often do you feed it to your dogs, and what do you mix it in with? Im going to start adding yoghurt to my little mans diet, just wanna know the best way to do it? Sorry to hijack your thread
  3. Hey guys. I have a few little questions. Any help would be much appreciated and Im sorry if these questions have been answered in other threads. Ive been doing a bit of reading about what everyone feeds their dogs. My dog gets biscuits during the day, and a treat of some sort (chicken necks etc) and dog roll, rice / pasta and a small amount of boiled frozen vegies for dinner. So I wanna change his diet. Can anyone share their dogs menu's with me? Explain how you prepare it etc? Also, are there any foods I shouldnt feed him? He loves getting a little bit of our leftovers at night. Im already aware of chocolate, onion, mushroom. Anything else? One last question, my dog and my friends dog play alot. Ty comes home with little scratches and cuts on him. Is it ok to use Lucas Paw Paw ointment on these? Or is that just more for treating a rash? Please excuse my ignorance. Any suggestions, tips, ideas, opinions would be greatly appreciated. Thankyou Jess
  4. I was put onto the Sporn Halter by my vet 3 days ago. And I swear by it. I've tried everything and have all sorts of halters / harnesses sitting in my cupboard that just arent effective. It hasnt stopped the pulling completely, but I can walk my little man now without my arm been ripped out. Unfortunately Im not sure how it will go if he see's another dog as we are yet to have an encounter whilst using the Sporn but Im confident I'll have a little more control over him then I previously did. I was also a bit worried about how flimsy it looked, but so far so good. I definately feel its worth trying and would recommend it to anyone
