The recipe for Bonnie Complete was changed from roo meat to chicken & thats when it went downhill. Bonnie Working Dog is still made with roo meat & its the one to use.
When Bonnie changed I phoned the company to complain & was told that it was changed because most Australians didn't like the idea of feeding 'Skippy' to their dogs & chicken was more acceptable !!!!! what they didn't say was that roo meat was becoming expensive & chicken bits were a lot cheaper = more profitable
One of my 2 dogs developed a bad skin irritation with the new Complete which cleared up when I changed to Working Dog.
I'm not recommending Bonnie Working Dog only pointing out that if you used Bonnie Complete then a replacement still with roo meat is Bonnie Working Dog. Not sure for how long this will be !
