  1. He said about 2-3 frames, I do know of a place in Stafford who sells 4 for $1.50 but its a bit out of the way to get to, I spend a lot of time in Bracken Ridge/Strathpine area and Redcliffe as well Yes Jack Purcell 3 for $1.50 or the IGA at Deagon 5 for $2
  2. :D Sorry i feed raw as thats what dogs like.
  3. And are her dogs sick and dying? If not, pull your head in. Indeed, if so, still pull your head in. I know that some raw feeders are fanatical about it but frankly many dogs do very well on cheap supermarket kibble and Pedigree Pal. It is not cruel, it's what suits the dog. I think thats a bit rude of you. They are purely asking a question not looking for your smarta*** comments.Pul your head in goose.
  4. Hi all, I have started my 17 week old pup on Advocate for Localised Demodex and was wanting to know of any remedies for the hair regrowth please.Apparently this is the longest pert of recovery as the hair folicals die and it takes a while for the hair regrowth. Thanks to all.
  5. Both Fresh Mix Adult & Fresh Mix Maximal are equal in quality, the only time 1 is better than the other depends on the needs of a particular dog.If you have chosen to feed a BARF diet and adhear to the principles of that then you should choose the Maxiimal. If you are happy to include some quality grains in your dogs diets then you could choose the Fresh Mix Adult. You could even alternate between the 2 diets. I also wanted to mention that the single, most common cause of softer stools that a few dogs have experienced when eating Artemis is caused by over feeding. Simply cutting back 1/4 to 1/2 a cup per day alleviates the problem. The fact that Beet Pulp is not included in the Artemis range should not be a factor, Beet Pulp is a moderately fermentable fibre that is added to give bulk to the stools, Artemis chooses to use chicory root instead of beet pulp which is also a moderately fermentable fibre and prebiotic to promote digestive health but will still promote smaller firmer stools. I hope this info helps. Thanks for the input.Yes i try to ahere to barf as best i can but only being new ( last 12 months) to it im always open to offers of support and advice.I suppose at the end of the day it always good to do whats best for the dog. Thanks again. :D
  6. FWIW, we've tried fresh mix maximal. The mud monkey doesn't like it at all; eats raw chicken, but won't touch this, even if I add sardines or a few pieces of dried liver to the bowl to try to get the eating started. Lucky we have a guzzle guts as well who hoovers it up the same as any other. Its good we all have at least one guzzle guts lol.
  7. Thanks CBL it reads like a good product so i thought i would see if i got some nice feedback. Thanks again.
  8. It's their show/performance food. Linky here LOL i thought you were talking about a different brand altogether. So you find this product ok then.Did it affect their weight much and i notice its ok to give to pregnant bitches.i assume then you don't have to change bitch over to puppy biscuits is that right.thanks again. I can't help you on the pregnancy side (not a breeder) but the Whippet is doing well on it. The issue with him is keeping weight on, not off. I'd not feed it to a dog that needs to watch its weight.. I'd probably opt for the normal Fresh Mix. I don't have an issue at the moment but i was just thinking Staffies who like their food.If they put on weight i'll have to walk them further.LOL
