  1. Not all tts climb. I have a tt and she doesn't like going in the backyard she would prefer to be at my feet. She is never onlead but follows me like a shadow. She is happy all the time and very trainable. She is the most beautiful dog I've ever owned..my first coated dog and is easy to groom! Eta: she chases toys and loves to play, but sinks like a bag of bricks in the water lol. And was the easiest dog to toilet train, they are a very clean breed
  2. The dogs have their own chef out there! These dogs are going to do great things I watched the video of this the other day, Steve has done an amazing job.
  3. Oh, i'm in NSW, so doing distance ed and going to the Pet Resort in Syd. I am very much looking forward to it- so excited when I received my package last week!
  4. I've just started my ndtf course..woohoo! Work is putting me through it. I work at boarding kennels- but we are branching out. We do doggy day care and training and are starting to get on the bandwagon for dog sports. And my boy is in training to try and become a therapy dog. I have my cert II in Animal Care and my cert III in Companion Animals. I love what I do, and I love learning something new everyday. I couldn't imagine being anywhere else!
  5. I'm also dying to find out! Not many to go now!
  6. Wow he is a handsom young man! ThEy look like they're going to have a blast together!
  7. I have a Boxer and a Bullmastiff...whom I absolutely adore, they are my heart and soul. Not sure if i'd have another boxer, because nothing would measure up to my girl. All the boxers i meet these days are so different to her. I will probably own more bullys. they are such love muffins. I have well and truely fallen for weimis though. Every wei i've met I have just adored, they are amazing. And i'm pretty certain that will be my next dog. I'd love a newfie too. I'm always tossing up between a newf and wei- Newfs were in our ring at the shows and they just seem like amazing dogs but i've never spent time with one before which is why the weimis always win in my head! I think afghans are beautiful- but i've never had the chance to meet one inr so i dont know if we match or not!
  8. Don't tell Leo's breeder but I just ordered him this ribbon for his collar from Huga http://www.ribbonsgalore.com.au/shop/index...94ecda2aaf38b02 ....I thought it was high time people knew the truth about the Bullmastiffs...
  9. I think this would be a great idea even a small booklet? I work at kennels and try to give the same info week in week out, i have made a print out on why not to breed that i've put up in the office but it would be great if this happened and to have something like it to give to clients. I find that *most* of them genuinely want to listen to my advice and do want to take it all into account- but i'm sure once they get home it's all said and done and forgotten about.
  10. Nawwwwwwwww they are gorgeous! (and they aussies are getting hugeeee!)
  11. The Ovcharka is very similar to the Central Asian Shepherd isn't it? Which there are a few breeders in aus. But yes, they need a very experienced owner and not for the faint hearted. They are livestock guardians- they aren't bred to be kept as a 'pet' (so to speak). I'd think twice as to owning one just because you want something different.
  12. Thanks for the invite ....It's because Leo doesn't have his man bits anymore isn't it
  13. Not so min pins?! Aw poor bubba, so glad to hear she is putting on the weight now though (why cant life just be easy?!) He is sound asleep on the floor cause he had a bit of trouble getting on the bed and that's all he's done since we've retired to the room. Didn't even moan or groan when I poked and proded him a bit and no snoring! He is THAT out of it! As we were leaving the vets today we did get the comment "that's one giant pug....."
  14. Awwww Ruby is gorgeous! She looks like a sweet little girl! Mr Leo is feeling sad and sorry for himself tonight! I had to pick him up from the vets while doing my deliveries so he did the rounds with me and cried the whole time! My poor bubba. He is very sooky. But alive and well which is great! When we got home I took him home for wees and i swear he was hallucinating he was trying to jump the fence (and for a boy that rarely moves that's odd!) Good to hear all of the babies are doing well! Hope it stays that way! Why do you have to bottlefeed her?
  15. Yeh I know he will be fine but you can't help but worry! I'm a little disappointed (not about his testes I know I don't have to do that it's completely my choice) just that I don't have time to do any of the things I had planned with him! But, there can always be another and he is everything i've wanted in every other aspect. Just going to focus on the training side of things now! BTW...How on earth do you have time to come on here Deb?! How are all of the babies??
  16. It is mr Leo's last night with his manhood :D I've been throwing it back and forwards for a while, and I still am. Tomorrow is going to be one longgggg day!
  17. We have 3 collapsable crates in an iload ( + one that isnt collapsible) and we have found them to be stable/secure enough. We've had them in there around 8 months now and are going great I can't remember where the other crate is from but I can get details for you if you like?
  18. I have a couple of dogs that I can't stand. One of them has a personality that I could like, but it's owners have ruined it and i just can't get past all of his bad points. The other are two labs that bark in your face, constantly. Not just every now and then for your attention, i'm talking don't leave your side while ever you are around them and bark. I meet so many labs, and there is probably only one or two I actually enjoy being around. BYB's and owners that don't know what they're getting into have seriously ruined these dogs and I am growing a slight hatred for them. And I hate that I feel this way! Somebody, please bring me a nice lab to meet and change my mind!
  19. Ahk, it's been a while since I went to training at r/terrace, so they may have stopped. It used to be on of a weds night. Like The Ark said, hills is a lot better anyway, I only went to the terrace for convenience and it didnt help me a whole lot, they didn't have a proper set up so you dont really get an idea of anything (if you are a complete newbie like me!) and the trainer wasn't the most reccomendable! Im from raymond terrace. Is hills training this tuesday? If it's nice weather and I have a chance of meeting a neo baby I might just go!! How old is your baby? any photos?!
  20. Yeh I was talking to Deb bout morriset i'd love to go but I have to talk to work about seeing if I can have it off. Heres too hoping. Just looked at the nov gazette but and im gonn def enter the arvo shows at hills. the fri and sat, so if i don't see youse before then i will be there! where is buladelah? haha.
  21. PSSSSSSS.... I can't believe how big she is!!!!!
  22. Aw she is beautiful I especially like the first one lol. And wow titled already! I didn't realise she was so close in age to Leo! He is coming on 19mths now. Still on his measly 36 points cause his mumma is slack haha. Ahhhh here is a couple of my little man: ...He prefers to sit rather then stand :D if I didn't force him out of bed of a morning I doubt he would ever leave it...
  23. Done and done ...You're a champ! And i'm Glad youse had a good time! Do you have any photos of your Aurea floating around? She would be big and beautiful now...
