Hi all Adelaidians I know a lot of us were excited when The Spoilt Dog offered Artemis (as a bonus they are just lovely people as well) I must say it was a little bit of a drive for me with my dodgy car... So I was even more excited to find out the fodder store in One Tree Hill is now offering Artemis as well :p They are currently at the stage that they cant stock all the range but will get anything in for you that you need, just ring them on 8280 7680. Excellent service As a disclaimer I dont work for either of these places, just letting people know. (Of course I might be the only excited person here, but still... )

I know its not meet related, but as this gathers adelaide peeps attention.... Does anyone know anywhere in the next month or so that is doing a special cheap microchipping day? I know sometimes the council, petstock, awl etc do them. Thanks! One day I'll get to a meet, I just have such a dodgy car I'm paranoid I'll break down, lol.

I go into spoilt dog to get artemis, every dog Ive seen there has been happy looking, if that helps :D

I just bought the same one as sway (well, it looks like it on the picture anyways) Not that I have a show dog yet but hopefully very very soon

I have a few frozen whole rabbits here if you want them to try your dog/s on. My dogs dont like them and they are taking space up in my freezer. Im northern suburbs.

I was going to say you cant get Artemis in Adelaide, thats great news Ness! Its not all that close to me but its certainly closer than Vic Ahh the joys of living in northern suburbs with a crap car.

Hi all. I bought some frozen rabbit for the dogs to try a few weeks ago. I bought a few as..well, I do that, lol. The dogs arent thrilled with it, we have tried them twice and most of it gets left. If anyone wants it let me know, my car isnt healthy so I cant deliver it far, but I work Salisbury / Playford and am happy to meet someone in the general area. If I have time this morning (school run) I'll dive into the freezer and see how many I have. Edit. I think theres 6 in total. Its very cold to be diving in a chest freezer, lol.

Well crap. Erm, I was clearly not thinking properly and did not connect that possibility. However, if she thought the dog was 7 weeks at the beginning of March, wouldnt something have happened prior to now? 8 weeks later? Unless she had her dates totally mixed up, split season? Im not a breeder and dont have enough knowledge. I might log onto our work and find her number, see if I can convince her to take the dog to the vet.

I got an update on this yesterday (Ive moved worksites so dont see the person often) Apparently there was no puppies (yay) not that she actually did any of the things I suggested, vet, ultrasound, etc. Nor has she gotten either dog desexed, she told me she got up yeasterday morning and her female has started another season. Seems pretty early to me actually. So we did the talk again, keep them seperated, blah blah. I suggested at least getting the male desexed but apparently her son wont let her. Whatever. I think I give up. Well, in reality I wont, but again it feels like Im smacking my head against a brick wall.

I got a quote recently for my boss for her little dog, approx 2 kgs SWF. It was just under $300 if she had not had a season, I think about $370 if she had. The price then went up for weight, and again having had a season or not.

SA - I just called Northern Seafood & Game‎-7 Main North Rd, Willaston SA 5118‎ - (08) 8523 0666‎ and they told me they sell salmon frames / heads, $3 for a bag which he said was a couple of Kgs, he did say to ring first but they get the salmon in a few times a week. Havent yet been there, I thought I might drive up over the weekend if my car was co-operating :D Has anyone had any experience with them before? Its only a 30 min drive (1hr return) but my car is temperamental, lol.
