  1. Thanks for that. This is her second heat. It was so real I booked her flight to Brisbane etc and then........nothing Then last week swelling again and then 2 days later back to normal. I hope you are right. Thanks again
  2. Hi I have a 2 year old French Bulldog bitch who had a full heat 7 months ago. Early this month she had swelling for 5 days then it went down, she swelled again last week for 2 days and then back to normal I am unsure as to whether this is a false heat or something more sinister. She is in excellent health, no obvious signs of heat yet the swelling up looked like the real thing then went down overnight. Is there anyone else who has had this happen?
  3. Hi Can anyone give the details of a good vet knowledgeable in Neo Mastiffs in Maryborough, Harvey Bay area? One that knows alot about them and is experienced in breeding? My friends bitch needed a caeser, she has just moved to the area. She lost 4 pups due to the vet not knowing enough about them :D and the vet nurse suggested she spey her bitch during the caeser as she did'nt know what a Neo was or that she was a pedigreed bitch. Very disconcerting. If you can help would be very much appreciated Thanks a bunch
  4. Well off to vet today, got anti biotics and scourban. So far so good . even ate a little today. Thanks for all the advice. We'll see how she goes now All better today, eating well she is a different puppy Thanks everyone for help

  6. justnikky congrats on your little frenchy there is a fab frenchie thread in breeders forum and photos must ;) also they give great advice to newbies :p my little otto had same problem and I too was very worried but kept him on bland cooked chicken & rice as mentioned and slowly start to introduce what I wanted him to eat (kibble etc) it worked he is fussy too, isn't into canned food which is fine by me as I prefer him to eat kibble/raw meat/chicken etc...he is now nearly 7 months and is feed 2 meals a day which is working out well :D Otto also ate his poo but the breeder & I put it down to boredom & separation - he grew out of it once he started eating better took about 3 weeks but we got there OMG! Otto is Yum Yums twin! he is absolutely fabulous. Yummy is doing a bit better today. Little monster and very cheeky. I will post fotos soon. can't wait to show her. Thanks for advice. Where is the forum? Can't find it.

    Runny Poo

My 8 week old Frenchy has developed very squirty smelly poo. Its foul. She eats, plays and is normal every other way just terrible poo. She is very fussy eater. I tried to give her supercoat puppy dry and soaked in puppy milk ( she wont eat it), optimum ( wont eat it), puppy milk ( wont eat it), Out of desperation, Pal natural puppy in tin she likes it. She does'nt like raw chicken so I gave her cooked breast ( loves it). She is drinking water and seems healthy in every other way. The poo is squirty and very very smelly. She also tries to eat it as well! Gross! Is there a remedy? She was wormed 4 days ago. Any help greatly and gratefully accepted
  9. I have upped the dose to 1 MAAH per day and I think it is improving Early days yet so we will see in a week or so Thankyou everyone for your thoughtful comments and advice and I have taken it all on board. Will post with Fatties progress soon Thanks again
  10. She is on MAAH. Started at 1 tablet 2 times a week and now she is up to 1 tablet evry second day. There is another drug available but it is very expensive and must be given 3 times a day for ever. I work and I am not around all day and the cost is prohibitive. I will check out the rest of the forum. I am new to Dogzonline so thanks for the advice
  11. Thanks for that. I was a bit annoyed with him (vet). He did the desexing and now can't fix it. I read on internet that desexed bitches sometimes become incontinant from a low hormone level. What other causes for this problem? She is healthy for her age, eats well, does'nt drink too much (diabetes) The nearest specialist would be Brisbane almost 900ks away.
  12. I hope someone can help me with a problem with my 9 year old Staffy bitch "Fatty" who was desexed last year after i rescued her. Ever since she has very bad incontinence when she sleeps. She leaks quite heavily. I can't let her inside at night as she sneaks onto my furniture and soaks them with wee . I took her to vet who put her onto hormones but it is'nt working and we have upped the dose with no change. What can we do :D ? We love the silly old thing but this problem is making it hard for us to include her at night time. Any suggestions would be really appreciated. Poor old girl ,she gets embarrassed too believe it or not
