  1. Omg thats so sad you try an do the right thing an evil people just take advantage. Best of luck at finding him
  2. 1 brat dog in our bedroom in our clothes cupbaord (his choice) the others are crated in the lounge room
  3. nevermind i'm an idiot that was the other months i haven't posted that one off yet. But thanks for the info have changed it
  4. The size differences in some of the stud dogs shocked me
  5. It's sad it really is that people would breed such unhealthy animals. Then make up a group/organisation to sell there unhealthy pups on to unsuspecting puppy buyers
  6. I'm not that experienced but i've crate trained my dogs an a litter, an if my puppys have outside time there crate is outside with them. I find if i put there crate where ever they are it's there safe zone an they love there crates. I personally wouldn't bother with a doggy potty if it's for only a short period of time i crate mine but i make sure there toileted first. But thats just what i do there are much more experienced people on here who will probably give you much more advice
  7. Thanks guys lol thats what i thought. Wow so you can make a club an make out your bitsa's registered now, thats terrible that they can just do that an trick unsuspecting puppy buyers into thinking that they are buying a purebred registered with a controling body.
  8. An i just looked through the uaba website to there stud dogs an some just look like british bulldogs an others are really tall
  9. Was just surfing the net an found aussie bulldogs for sale an thought i'd never heard of them so looked on here an couldn't find them. But on the advert it says the breeder is registered with uaba and the pups are papered. So i looked up the uaba an there like dogs QLD but there own thing that do what dogs qld do but on there own. So i was wondering why there not a breed on here an whats the go with the uaba, is it a real thing or what?? Thanks for any replys i'm just a little curious
  10. Thanks rebanne i'll tell mum to try that
  11. Thanks so much for the replys guys thats what i thought too CBL about her thinking she's leader of the pack. The obedience school i go through teaches people a lot about the pack system. Mum has contacted GAP and i don't really know what they said but mum told them she wants to keep trying cause they all really love the dog. I will let her know about the spray bottle thing. And we will do the obedience an speak to the school about a behaviourist but i really do think it's my family and that once there better trained the dog will be a lot happier.
  12. Hi everyone i just have a few Q's an need some advice for my mum. My mum adopted a GAP greyhound she's 5 years old an they really like her but there having issues with her growling and going for everyone. There's my mum an dad and 3 siblings which are 12,17 an 22 all inexperienced dog owners. When ever one of them go near her in her bed she growls at them. If she's doing something wrong eg getting on beds an they try an remove her she growls an will lunge at them. I have suggested that she comes to basic obedience with me so were going to do that. Cause we suspect it's something there doing wrong being so inexperienced. I was just wondering if anyone here who has experience with greyhounds has any suggestions???
  13. Thats horrible how sad for that couple
  14. I've only been showing for a couple months now an i've found the more shows i go to the more people try an help. I suspect a lot of people don't stick to it so regular show people wait an see if your gonna stick to it or not. But i've found everyones help an advice at shows to be great i have learnt more since i started showing than i have ever learnt before. Like that my blues nose is not black it's a really dark blue. But i have my girl that i show that will go somewhere in the show ring. My blue boy loves it in the ring, though he will never get anywhere. You just gotta enjoy it an learn all you can from the very knowledgable people at shows an on here.
  15. Been to the vet. His tonsils are fine. He has a yeast infection in his ears doesn't really know whats wrong with him in regards to bad breath. He said it could be a few things. But he gave him an antibiotic shot an 2 weeks worth of anti biotics and ear drops. So we'll see how he goes.
  16. Just did a bit of research on doggy tonsilitis an i think you could be right. So diffinently gonna have to take him too vet. Thanks heaps for your reply persephone
  17. wow really?? Didn't know dogs got tonsilitis.
  18. I have a male stafford he's 14 months old an the last few days he has had the worst breath I've ever smelt ever. It smells like theres something rotten an dieing in his mouth. I've fully checked his mouth an all his teeth look good. Nothing has changed in his diet. Could something else be causing his bad breath. He's not acting any different. Not sure wether to take him to the vet. Does anyone else have any ideas on what it could be???

  20. Hooch from turner an hooch for sure loved the movie an the dog
  21. Ha ha ha there not rare at all now. I've been looking through the pups on here an there nearly all blues it shits me.
  22. I've noticed the prices are dropping for the blues so hopefully when the price of a blue drops down to a normal price the idiots breeding for money will drop out.
  23. Blues don't do any good Well mine doesn't lol. I show mine cause he's my heart dog as you guys call them an he gets so sad if i only show my white he even gets sad an crys a lot if we take him but don't show him. He loves it.
